This year I had a question for Mark after doing my return and my daughters return. I emailed with no response. I followed up with a phone call and a second email. It took Mark 18 days to get back to me. Unaccectable. I'm a reasonable person and understand "it's the busy season" but at least show a long time customer the courtesy of a quick response even if it's to say I'll get back to you later. Had submitted it 3 times that week electronically but that she should know that once is rejected you have to submit it throughout mail with an amendment. I mentioned I had previously called her & that she mentioned she had taken care of it., that I had to wait and that since I couldn't verify with the IRS system nor with the franchise Tax Revenue after long hours waiting on the phone. I had to call for an entire week for 6 to 8 hrs at a time until she (the IRS Agent had the answer) she then mentioned I would check to which she took 20 min or so letting me know we were at fault because we HADN'T filed and that she had numerous times tried to submit it within the week because I had called her in the past week. the IRS agent said Go there because is your responsibility, not hers now if u don't want to pay you have to ask her to amend your tax form and submit it to this address and do it ASAP. I called Mrs. Lissin only to get attitude and said THEY ALWAYS SAY THAT I DO MY WORK RIGHT in my understanding I GUESS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. So I told her I was on my way to her office. I got there and I was polite the reason I needed her to do the amended document, a short story she wanted to mail on her own, and mentioned she would send it next week I said ma'am I understand but this is my taxes and I don't want to pay moody she got me the copy and seal it and said here that's all. I got out and mailed both copies. Now is Sep turns out I called this week after days & hours waiting on the phone, because we only received the state refund, not the federal, and the state agent said, I'm sorry I don't think you have the correct amounts either, so he gave me the correct amount turned out she missed the amounts as well. Federal was the state and Byversa. I'm sure in her younger years she was great. Today I called her again, she again denied she was wrong and that she had made yet another mistake. Is the 2nd week of Sep 2024 no taxes are being refunded from the federal office. I have no clue and the lady Su who answers sometimes denies she is in the office or that she is busy. She (Elizabeth) mentioned let me call and I will return your call once I fix it, or I'm going to call right now lol 4:50 pm. I'm still waiting on her call once again I called and asked if she ever called because she's busy, out of the office or not there & I finally had the courage to ask please don't lie and really ask her on less you want me to stop by uuhhh only to SU mentioning in a sarcastic laugh she said she hasn't because is going to take time, okay I just want to know if she has called so I can call again and thanks for your time. I have the recording to prove it but i can't post it. The moral of the story check the reviews of the previous users you will save some time and extra money I have paid twice for forms sent to the IRS and franchise tax board $30 dlrs + $30 dlrs for express documents. I really didn't want to make this review but I know someone out there doesn't and wouldn't like to deal with this NIGHTMARE of countless hours on the phone with franchise and Irs. Attach are images so u can see I'm really trying to save you a headache I REGREAT listening to that person who recommended US. LISSIN AND CO. More than you will ever know. The saddest part I'm on hold waiting to see if the IRS will ever answer. Only time will tell.
