Despite being at a different dentist just 8 months earlier they created a "treatment plan" of a deep cleaning for just an extra $40, 3 crowns and multiple cavities. When I said I was absolutely not getting all that work done, their attitudes changed from pleasant to angry. Still, first step was to schedule a cleaning. When I asked if I could simply get a regular cleaning as I have had for the last 40 years, the answer was no - the "treatment plan" calls for a deep cleaning. I said no and walked on out. Watch your pocketbooks or they will have their hands in it. Oh, and my hubby had an appoint the next day...guess who also needed a "deep cleaning" on his treatment plan and was not able to schedule a regular cleaning. SMH

The receptionist was SUPER helpful (after calling a bunch of other places in the area, I can say that her friendliness really stood out - she truly seemed to care.) Not only did they get me in for my urgent issue, I was able to be seen quickly for a routine cleaning (vs waiting weeks for some other offices, or not even being able to get a hold of an actual person). The office is really clean, and everyone was friendly. On time, efficient, and a thorough exam by the dentist I saw. I'll be booking for the rest of my family. Two thumbs way up!

I've vacationed in Racine for a dozen years and one year I went to Reesman to have my teeth…read morecleaned. The first year, he tells me I need an x-ray. He repeats this a second year. I told him my regular dentist does it. The 3rd year, he told me he would not clean the teeth without charging me around $100 for X-rays. This, while I am already in his chair for a cleaning. What real choice do I have but to accept his blackmail (i.e. get up and walk out without the teeth cleaning, facing a possible cancelled appointment penalty)? So I had to get Xrays I didn't need, since my regular dentist takes them. I told him too many Xrays are not good, and he gave some lame science to say Xrays are harmless. Can you believe this nonsense? In fact, it has been announced recently by the ADA that annual Xrays are unnecessary. He also pushed and pushed for him to replace a chipped crown in the back of my mouth, which has been like that for years and that my regular dentist says to leave alone, since it causes no pain and works fine. Reesman's crown cost was a couple of thousand dollars = all this while I am on a two-week vacation and just came in for a cleaning!! Even his dental assistant chimes in and tells me I should it. She is not a dentist and her unsolicited advice was completely inappropriate, but he said nothing to her. I told him no, I wasn't interested in paying thousands of dollars to fix a problem that doesn't exist, especially by a dentist 1000 miles from home. I then went back to my regular dentist for something else a month later - an Ivy-league trained dentist, btw - and he again confirmed it was TOTALLY UNNECESSARY to replace this crown that did not bother me. A patient of Reesman's I know reported him ordering an expensive $400 Panorex (advanced Xray) procedure during a routine annual visit, a completely unnecessary (and unethical, IMO) treatment. I spoke to 3 friends who are dentists (one of whom even teaches dentistry at Columbia) and they all agreed that giving a Panorex during an annual visit, if there is no problem reported by the patient, is uncalled for. Reesman is a dangerous hustler. Patients Beware.
