The only flavor that it had was "stinky feet." The arrabiata was also bland. It just tasted like tomatoes. It was supposed to have onions and chiles too, but it didn't really taste like it. When I've had arrabiata at other restaurants it's usually a little spicy. I was extremely disappointed. Also, the bread that they served us before the meal tasted like it was stale and freezer burned (at the same time). Additionally, there was mold in the bowl of parmesan that they gave me for my pasta. I didn't notice until after I was almost finished (and I had used a lot of parmesan to try to add flavor). I'm really underwhelmed. The pasta ranged from mediocre to bad and the service was extremely slow. Even though this place is very close to my apartment, I will not be back. I will go to the other Italian place (a block away) or I will dump some Prego on some noodles and it'll be more flavorful.

The cheese, sauce and toppings made for a delicious pie, but with the addition of some of the pesto salsa it was a home run. It just proved to be too much pizza for us and we were able to finish only half of it. We suspect the small pizza would have been just right. She liked the grilled tuna and subbed grilled veggies for the mashed potatoes. The star of the show was desert. She always orders tiramisu and loved the large portion. I got an ice cream cake called "de la abuela " or something I don't remember. Both made in-house and absolutely beautifully presented.
