Our pictures turned out really great and I can't stop looking at them. Beyond being a great photographer, which anyone will claim, Michael is a pleasure to work with. He is very laid back, while still being extremely professional and reliable. He answered every email promptly and went above and beyond, meaning he helped us with generally wedding planning that he really didn't have to do. He puts you at ease and makes taking a million pictures enjoyable. I'm not kidding when I say my friends continue to ask about him because he was so fun to be around. We went with his Level 3 package, which involves 2 photographers, and both Michael and the 2nd photographer (we had Jon) were great. And I think he offers a very fair price point for the quality of work that he does. I highly recommend Michael Litchfield. Book him now before he moves onto bigger and better things!

We wanted a photographer there to capture pictures of us and our children. As a result, we only needed a photographer for about an hour on a Saturday afternoon. I contacted Christopher via email on September 20 and explained our situation, and he said he was available for our October 20 date. Christopher sent us his contract via email. After that, I tried to contact him several times to follow up both via email and phone. I left several voicemail messages in the ensuing weeks, but he never returned any of the phone calls. Plus, time was running out to find someone new. Our wedding is in less than a week and Christopher is MIA. We can't find a replacement. Horrible! Thanks a lot Christopher! Maybe some day you will get around to reading these reviews and realize how badly you dropped the ball and let us down. If you couldn't do the job you set out to do, then you should have notified us ASAP so that we could make alternative arrangements.

We love his style - bold and bright colors with our beautiful city as the background. He captures candid photos as well as comfortable posed shots. His prices are affordable compared to many photographers in the city. I believe the investment is worth it. The turnaround with the wedding photos was quick. He replied to our questions right away and was extremely professional and authentic. Wedding photographers are definitely a difficult task to find in the city of Chicago...I'm so grateful we were able to have Christopher photograph our engagement and wedding!

I was so nervous in the morning and he just has a chill energy that made everything more relaxed. Our bridal party was ginormous 13 bridesmaids and 11 groomsman and Adam somehow wrangled us all together and got so many amazing photos. I cannot say enough great things about him. He took such a great variety of family photos, sweet meaningful ones, funny one etc! I am so so so happy we went with him!

I live in Vegas but got married in Chicago, so I had to plan a wedding from across the country. We talked on the phone and through email several times before meeting at a local coffee shop one of the times I was in town. Let me just say that he made us feel so at ease about everything! He helped brainstorm places we can take pictures which came in handy come wedding day. Come wedding day, he was able to work with our crazy, loud and huge wedding party! Everyone loved him! So on my wedding day, the Chicago weather decided to disappoint me and it literally rained. ALL. DAY. I didn't have a plan B, as I wanted to take pictures by the skyline and North Ave. Beach and prayed it would not rain. Adam came to the rescue and suggested we go to the Civic Opera House to take pictures instead. Those pictures turned out so well, despite the rain (and my hair and all the bridesmaids' hairs flattened because of the humid... ugh!). I highly recommend Adam if you're looking for a photographer. But book him quick, he's a busy guy!!

Bride's Thoughts: Our experience with Eric O'Connor was more than we could have hoped for. From the…read morefirst moment that I actually met Eric (when my fiancé proposed) I knew I was in good hands. He exudes compassion, understanding and knowledge. This is important to a bride! He took our proposal, engagement and wedding pictures...and we've been so happy with them all. Eric is dependable, organized and SO personable. Our wedding party, particularly the girls, raved about how Eric handled things. I must have thought that Eric's ways were the norm, but I was informed from my closest and most trusted friends that Eric was extraordinary and even was told "I wish I had a photographer like him." As a bride, you want to be sure you are in trusted hands. He carried the train of my dress many times, gave my girls tips on how to stand to look their best, joked with us and made us all at ease. Not to mention he cleans up nice, and cares about his appearance on the day that you REALLY care about yours! Luckily, my husband and I live near Eric because he came over to our home to go through our pictures and put together our wedding album. However, I'd have to assume he'd have done this even if we lived far away, that is just the kind of guy he is. We settled on our pictures, just received our album and we are smitten with it! As are our parents, who got miniature albums, too. :) Groom's Thoughts: My personal experience with Eric was a little different. I knew Eric prior to hiring him as our photographer. But I knew from the start of working with him on the proposal pictures he was a good match for my fiancé (now wife). Organized, professional, and very perceptive of his client's needs. He takes the time to explain how best to take shots in a professional way, but always truly listens to what you want. Watching how calm my wife was during all of the photography was amazing and I owe much of that to Eric's demeanor with her. He put her at ease by helping and directing her at the right times. Additionally, he was extremely helpful with anything we needed outside of just photography - helping my wife bustle her dress, giving bridesmaids pointers on how to help, keeping us on time, etc. Additionally, for me it means a lot when you team up with the right people to create an amazing experience. While Eric was focused on my extremely beautiful wife (aka hottest girl in the world), he teamed up with another photographer who was perfect for working with me and the rest of the groomsmen. Funny, relaxed yet still organized and on-point, Robb was more than I would have expected. He made our day easy, and more importantly got the right/best pictures. With that said, Eric deserves the utmost compliments. I would definitely recommend him for your wedding, or any event! Bride and Groom's Thoughts: We love Eric and if you are lucky enough to have him photograph your special day, you won't be sorry!

Not only is his work stunning, but he is just such a lovely individual all around and it was natural! We talked as if we knew each other for years. Our first meeting at Soho House Chicago was very relaxed and very nonintimidating. We just looked over Peter's work while sipping on some cocktails. After the meeting was over we felt like we were hanging out with an old friend and decided Peter was who we were going to choose. Our second meeting was for our engagement photos which were taken on the Chicago lakefront and then after a change of outfits we moved onto more photos on the bridges over the river and along the river. The photos came back very quickly and we were extremely happy and now excited for the outcome of our wedding photos. We got married at the London House Chicago on 10/13/18. Peter had a team 3 people with him. We spent about 2 hours walking the locations near the venue and also capturing epic pictures in the cupola overlooking the entire city. When the ceremony started, Peter and his team stayed with us all the way until midnight. It was fun for our guests to have access to all of the photos captured on the GIF booth through a link sent via text message to every guest. Within a few weeks later, we received an entire photo album sent via email. The photos are awesome and it solidified us making the right choice in choosing Peter and his team! Kevin and Mari

He's very knowledgeable about the industry and was able to answer any questions we had. What my husband and I valued the most was Albert's ability to get along with everyone. We had used a different photographer for our engagement shoot, and although he shot beautiful photos, he was just very antisocial, serious, and hard to connect with. After we met Albert, we realized how important it was to us to have someone who was compatible with our personalities and was able to communicate effectively with our friends and family. During our wedding, Albert was professional, but at the same time, felt like a friend who was there to help us through the day. An added bonus was that he knew Cantonese so he was able to communicate with the elder family members who did not know English. Albert was (and is) extremely responsive before and after the wedding. After our honeymoon, we requested a few photos for our thank you cards, and he was able to send some within a few days. We were able to receive all of our wedding photos about 3 months after our wedding, and we love them!
