I had fallen about a month ago and was experiencing severe headaches and body pains as a result. I…read morehad gone to a chiropractor for adjustments because as a therapeutic bodyworker I knew and felt that I was out of alignment. After 4 sessions I was no better than when I first started seeing the Chiro. I was referred to Dr. Julie Barter by a friend and so I made an appointment. She adjusted me in ways I've never been adjusted before. It was the most thorough adjustment I've ever had. She even adjusted my cranial sutures. Awesome! She uses muscle testing and your meridians to let her know what's going on where and what needs to be adjusted. It was an amazing experience and an extremely valuable one. I feel aligned and functional again! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! During my second appointment with her she really helped clarify some "untruths" I've been told about a supposed health issue that I thought I had but, it turns out it's not an issue at all. She gave me some very valuable nutrition information that I've been following ever since. I'm excited because I get to eat foods I thought I'd never eat again and I'm feeling great!

Worst experience ever. I've given them a chance for two years now. First doctor prescribed me…read moremedicine I've been prescribed to for fifteen years. She forgot at the next appointment and said she didn't feel comfortable prescribing that type of medicine. I don't even know how that happens. I had to explain that she already prescribed it to me a few months prior, resulting in her then prescribing it to me again after someone in the office talked to her. Should've left then but it's such a hassle with paperwork and establishing new primary physician. Second doctor I tried was googiling on her phone in front of me what to do about an ingrown toenail and I left without much help. Third doctor was good. The front desk not being helpful and only seeming to care about money was the final straw. Do not go here if you want compassionate, organized and professional medical care.

Incompetent nurses that work here. Gave me verbal instructions on a take home kit for samples and…read moreran through the instructions in 5 minutes and failed to inform me on writing down the time I took my samples. After waiting a full week for my results this incompetent girl tells me that the results could not be read as the time of day wasn't posted. If that was the case... 1.) why the hell didn't the nurse that took my samples look at them before I left after dropping them off and 2.) why didn't they just give the patient written instructions on what to do and not relay on a incompetent nurse that failed to inform me???? Why I told the nurse on the phone that I didn't remember hearing that I was suppose to write down the time of day... she interrupts me, telling me that she was the one who told me what to do and she remembers telling me to do that. That she was sorry I forgot to do this, but I can return to the office and pick up another test..... I told her I will NOT be doing the test again and I hung up. Why in the hell would I leave the time of day out if I was told. This B@tch did not tell me and she is incompetent. She came across as a know it all when taking my vitals and made me sit in the office for 18 minutes waiting for her to give me the kit and instructions. What a piece of work she is. Not a place I feel like going back to. If nurses are going to accuse me of not listening to their instructions then I'm not sure if I really want to go back to see Dr. Wilcox. I am not a liar and was not told to put the date down on the bottles. I would've done this and not left it out to fudge my test results. This is bull@@@@.

Still love Dr. VanK. However, she's moved to a cash-only, boutique practice (understandably), and…read moreit has effectively made it so I can't afford to see her, and finding a new doc is one of my least favorite things. If you don't have insurance, or only carry catastrophic, go see her, she's amazing! But if you do, the $200 annual appointment plus the yearly fee probably won't work for you. No matter how much I love her (5+ stars worth), I can't justify $200 for a 45 minute visit I'm already paying many thousands of dollars a year to have covered for $10.

I will start by saying that Dr. VanK was very personable and listened during my first appointment…read more However, because of a number of issues I cannot give this office or her a high rating: 1. When I scheduled I was told I could be seen in 30 minutes and was quoted a price. When I showed up a couple days later the appointment was 1 hour, price was almost double, and when I complained the Dr. told me that she can never see first patients in 30 minutes. Isn't this something they should have called back to tell me BEFORE I showed up, so I could decide if it was worth $220 out of pocket to go in? 2. Wait time was almost 45 minutes. I have severe morning sickness, so sitting all that extra time was not comfortable. 3. I was in to get a homeopathic remedy for morning sickness. About 45 minutes into the appointment, the Dr. told me that she figures out the best remedy using a computer program, which was not working. So, I had to wait 3 days to get the official recommendation. In the meantime, she said she could "guess" at the best remedy for me (which I took, and which did not help). 4. After several days of the first remedy not working, she gave me a second which also did not work, and then a third which made my throw up more. I'm not sure if homeopathy just doesn't work, or if she is just not that good at it... 5. Finally, the lack of assistance in billing insurance, even for out-of-network, and the high expense of her direct pay method make this amazingly expensive. I went on the recommendation of a friend and because I was desperate to reduce my morning sickness. This was a huge waste of time and money.
