The reviews were spot on. She was funny and sweet and very committed to making our wedding special and capturing it perfectly. I'm pretty sure the first time we talked on the phone she said something along the lines of "if you decide to work with me..." and we were like "yes. we are working with you. No question." I'm so happy we found her and she ended up having our date open! My husband (!) and I both felt kind of awkward going into the engagement shoot that is included in the package, but we left feeling so relaxed and ...basically giddy. She just knows how to get you laughing and going with the flow while capturing beautiful shots. She was also very communicative despite hiring her well in advance, for example, sending us an version of a wedding timeline and a magazine created by her helping with decisions like whether to do a first look or not. We also got the photo booth from her (one of the best decisions ever! I had so much fun with it and so did the guests) as well as adding on the second photographer (her husband Devin). If you want a photobooth it makes sense to do it with her because she has a deal for booking both things together. Having Devin as the second photographer was also a good decision. Devin was just as great, and it was nice to have a photographer with the groom side while they were getting married as well as capture different angles of the entire wedding. I can end with this: Jasmine (and Devin) are both amazing photographers, but they also go beyond. For example, it was raining on and off, and they figured out exactly when to get beautiful rain pics, or beautiful non-rainy pics outside, found a large bag to put under my dress so that it wouldn't get destroyed while taking outside rainy pics. That kind of can-do DIY attitude paired with their skill is what truly seals the deal.

Terrible place.. I feel like I was cheated. I paid $280 for portraits that I have to also pay…read moreShutterfly to print off. What is the point in doing portraits and the customer paying for them if you then have to pay someone else to actually get your pictures. I feel like I should get a refund for not being told that until AFTER I had already paid. The studio is not very clean and not very organized and the person taking the pictures is not experienced enough with children. I definitley felt rushed and I feel cheated.

I requested several specific shots, helped pose the kids, and she took them. She dragged the shoot out for 1.5 hours before I finally told her we were done. We ended up with 10 pictures (the studio promises 15-20, and previous years we averaged 45), and the shots I had posed with the kids weren't among them. I contacted customer service to request a reshoot with a different photographer, which they scheduled for me. The day before the reshoot the original photographer called me, told me no other photographer was available, and canceled my appointment. Three phone calls later, I'm getting a partial refund by check in a month. If you want mediocre quality photos of adults, you're probably fine here, but if you want photos of kids, go somewhere else. Not even close to worth the headache and hassle.

He produced our Save the Date magnets from our engagement photos, answered thousands of questions and ultimately made our wedding day perfect by capturing all the important moments. Our wedding album is beautiful and gets many compliments when visitors are in town. Ed also went above and beyond by making a framed collage of pictures of my grandmother from the wedding which we displayed at her funeral less than two months after the wedding.
