Pulmonary Sleep is a great place if you have breathing issues and require a pulmonologist to…read moremonitor your treatment. For me, I need them because of my obstructive sleep apnea and my insurance demands it. I feel their care and expertise is second to none. The office staff is friendly, but certainly way too busy. When you get to your appointment, make sure to manually tell the front desk people that you are there for your appointment. There is no sign in sheet and there are no instructions posted anywhere up front which would alert you to their procedures for check in. I certainly urge them to at least put up a sign that says something like, "Please check in with the front desk upon arrival." That would eliminate a lot of confusion. Overall, they are professional and friendly and are a good choice for pulmonary care if you need it. Check them out!

It is nothing but greed! I will have be going to this office just to cancel an appointment! Yopu cannot get ahold of anyone, so I always have to go to the office if I need to get anything done!

Sat in the lobby for almost an hour past my appointment time while they helped at least a half dozen people who had walked in after me. At about 10:15 AM, I got an email telling me my appointment was cancelled and that I'd need to reschedule, WHILE I SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM. I am going to skip the details, other than to say I never saw my PA, she was AWOL from the practice, one person telling me she was scheduled off, the other telling me she didn't work there and never had. Dr. was not available - out of the office until October. Office manager was not available - hadn't come to work yet, at 10AM. If there was a way to give negative stars, I'd be doing that right now. Already found a new practice to see, they're finding time to fit me in Monday.

Beware of this office. I should have listened when I was told not to go to this office. To begin…read morewith, I don't know why they call it Dr. Fernandez's office because you never actually get to see him, even upon request. The office staff is extremely rude and the office itself has a problem with retaining doctors, nurse practitioners, and other staff; the turnaround is ridiculous. I was with them for years until I came in for an appointment and they confronted me, in front of several patients, over $100 in copays that they claim were unpaid. Mind you, I have NEVER been allowed to leave the reception area, to actually see a doctor until my copay has been paid at the reception. When my visit has been over the phone, someone calls to check you in and collect your copay, and only until that is paid does the doctor actually call you back for the actual visit. They will collect your copay then send you a bill or contact you to attempt to collect that same copay. I attempted to handle this calmly and respectfully but after getting yelled at numerous times, I finally left, with a polite f you and will not return. The office manager, Dr. Fernadez's wife, is very unprofessional and their billing person is a thief. I simply asked for them to do some research, to ensure it was not a technical error on their part, to which their response was that their system "does not make errors." Save yourself the trouble and find an office that actually treats people with respect. if I could give this 0 stars, I would.

I had an imagining test scheduled here a few months ago I had to cancel because my cat passed away…read moreand I had to use the money I had saved up for the imaging to put my cat to sleep. Whoever was in their billing department continued to harass me for a copayment that I explained I couldn't afford to pay due to the circumstances. They called me repeatedly during this difficult time after I told them in several phone calls that I did not have the money. When I asked to reschedule so I could save the money again their billing person told me that she wouldn't reschedule me until I paid my copay. Btw this was a 6,000 test that I was responsible for 10% of. My insurance was already paying them an astronomical amount but no they needed my $500 right away. I really wish this billing individual is held accountable. When I called to reschedule a month later I talked with someone else and they rescheduled me no problem. This takes away from anything I ever wrote nice about this office. To harass me for payment while my cat was actively dying is despicable.
