I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience with Foundation Health. I had just left…read morethe emergency room with a torn back muscle and was put on a decompression machine immediately, despite being in severe pain and fresh out of the ER. I trusted that the staff would take my condition seriously and use caution, but that was not my experience. What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of accountability afterward. The doctors continue to say they stand by the treatment they gave me, no matter what, and seem unwilling to acknowledge that the treatment may have been inappropriate for someone in my condition. I was looking for care, compassion, and professional judgment--not a refusal to even consider that something could have been handled differently. I left feeling dismissed, unheard, and worse than when I arrived. I would strongly encourage anyone dealing with an acute injury or recent ER visit to be very cautious and ask detailed questions before agreeing to treatment here.

However, that proved to be untrue...we drove to Murray for nothing...do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. My daughters did not care for them anyway, and I had yet to meet a dentist (this would be her 3rd cleaning appointment there). So, all worked out for the best. He was not the first chiropractor that I went to, but he was the first that used a much more hands on approach. It took some adjusting to his style, but I found that the experience resulted in much better care. Not only did my back begin feeling better immediately, but in follow up care, he always remembered exactly what was perfect for my particular needs. If you are used to a more machine manipulated experience, then this place probably isn't for you. I had to return to their business recently after suffering from back pain. Since my last visit they have added massage to their practice and it has been an amazing aide in the process. The massage therapists on staff are friendly, attentive, and very good at their job. I have found that the addition of massage allows for a much easier manipulation experience. I leave feeling much less stressed, and much better physically. My only criticism is that the facilities are in need of renovation. It feels a bit small, cramped, and outdated. But, since that really doesn't play a huge role in care ....so, four stars it is.
