I trusted that the staff would take my condition seriously and use caution, but that was not my experience. What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of accountability afterward. The doctors continue to say they stand by the treatment they gave me, no matter what, and seem unwilling to acknowledge that the treatment may have been inappropriate for someone in my condition. I was looking for care, compassion, and professional judgment--not a refusal to even consider that something could have been handled differently. I left feeling dismissed, unheard, and worse than when I arrived. They have a policy for patients about being late or unable to attend an appointment, but the doctors are constantly running late without apologies or explanations. What I'm hearing from their policies is, their time is important and valuable and our time is not important or valuable. Just to be clear, we were here to check-in 20 minutes early, now they are 10 minutes late with at least calling us back from the waiting room area.
