I only ever have good things to say about Michael! I had the lucky instance of being able to find Michael's page on Instagram back in 2022 BY CHANCE, right after getting engaged. From the initial viewing of his page, he perfectly captured what I envisioned my photos for my future wedding to be. A mix of film, editorial, and candid, he Utilized his talent in this craft and documented such raw and authentic moments for people, and I could feel the love and see the passion through each photo. I immediately reached out to him and told him about myself, and my fiancé and our wedding plans and my vision, and I can't speak for him, but the second I started talking to him, I absolutely loved him. His Attention to detail was refreshing, and he really was genuine, and wanting to get to know me and my fiancé and my vision. Us living in different parts of the country (us in CA and him in FL) also did not ever seem to hold any barriers, as he was more than willing to accommodate Several engagement in photos and shoots and even offered some film just for fun when in CA for other work and to see friends/personal vacation. He made my fiancé feel comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy task I will tell you). We have welcomed him into our home, and through the course of time (over 1 1/2 years), Michael has become a friend. My fiancé and him get along great too, and anytime he is in CA, we try to make time for each other and grab dinner or even just a quick hug! That's the kind of person Michael is. He will go above and beyond for his couples. He wants positive experiences, he wants people to be proud of his work for people's weddings and feel content with the photos that are meant to be seen for the rest of your life. I see (2) negative reviews on here as of 9/8/2023, and I can't tell you that their side of how they viewed these interactions are incorrect or not. But I CAN tell you that Michael is a caring and flexible human person, and does his very best to attempt to accommodate changes and needs, both personally and professionally. I have SEEN IT and I do not believe what these people are saying. Even if there was artistic differences, Michael would and did according to the review/rebuttal attempt to rectify and clarify and provide appropriate compensation. I understand wires can get crossed. We're human, imperfect and no where near good communicators. Stuff happens. Conflict can arise. But Michael is a hard worker, accommodative, and is genuine. The negative reviews feel specific to slander and only highlight their specific view and it all being negative. As an outsider looking in, I do not see these two comments made by people holding much weight, because as Michael's friend, I know how many weddings he is doing and see so much love and praise his couples he works with give. MICHAEL is truly the most amazing photographer and human!!! I can't say enough great things about our wedding photographer, on 7/15/23. For starters, it was a blessing, he was available on our wedding date. The initial contact, booking process, all the way through the day of, was perfection. He stayed communicated from start to finish, and as like any business, If needed to adjust sessions included for us due to weather or timing, he was always very willing and flexible. He gave us some amazing sneak peaks day after wedding and followed up with a start to our gorgeous gallery up until the final product. The main thing here, that I need everyone to know is, Michael was not only our photographer, but he easily became a friend of ours for life, and part of our family. He treated our day as if it was a family affair of his own, and the talent he has for capturing amazing memories, is truly unmatched. I told him specific details and vision I had for that day and he delivered beyond what we dreamed of! He listens, open to suggestions, but most importantly he cares and goes above and beyond to deliver the best finished product for his couples. If I can give him a million star review I would, he made us feel like the only exclusive couple he was ever working with through the year, and I believe , that's a rare trait to find in someone that usually has few big life events such as a wedding, to capture every weekend. To be able to connect and prioritize every couple willingly, makes him a rare GEM in every way, in such a big industry. I plan to book him for all life events going forward, no doubt about that. Michael went above and beyond to capture my wedding day. I'm celebrating my first wedding anniversary this week, and tears came to my eyes sifting through Michaels amazing photos and re-living the moment. I had a relatively small, casual wedding that didn't have much structure - a challenge for any photographer. Michael came into our partnership with such enthusiasm and excitement for the vibe we were going for, and by the time my wedding day came around it felt like I was greeting an old friend. We didn't have a wedding planner, we kept things simple and got married in a renovated victorian home turned bar in the town I grew up in. Our wedding celebration was organic and free-flowing, we did things when it felt right and let the day unfold. Michael didn't break a sweat. I'm not someone who dreamed of my wedding day, the thought of rigidly posing with my groom wearing a big white dress was never something I wanted. Instead I got to run around with a bottle of champaign laughing and eat pizza with the love of my life, while Michael seamlessly captured each moment. He photographed countless authentic moments of my family and friends in a cramped dimly lit space. He even helped orchestrate things like where to stand for the ceremony and when to cut cake - like I said...above and beyond. His photos feel authentic, real, heartfelt and not to mention stunning. We couldn't be more grateful for Michael. I was so glad I happened to find him through Instagram and immediately got in contact with him. His work is timeless, elegant, and the documenting style I was looking for. Not only did he over deliver he was the sweetest, most professional, and so personable with us. Michael was THE best photographer I could have asked for. First, for our engagement photos he took the lead on driving us up a windy mountain at sunrise because we weren't as familiar with mountain driving and he had done it plenty of times. We had the best time, even though I can be pretty camera shy he made me feel so comfortable. The photos were beautiful and it felt like hanging out with a friend. For the wedding day, he got all of the requested photos done in record time, so my husband and I could enjoy almost the entire cocktail hour. I'm the kind of person that's always laughing, and he captured the sweetest moments of my laughing throughout the night. Michael will do almost anything to get an amazing shot! We had him shoot our engagement photos in Southern California on our favorite hiking spot and on the beach. Michael climbed up hills in the dirt and stood in the surf for hours with us, going above and beyond to make sure ever shot was spectacular.
