I would like to start by saying Allison H. Is the absolute BEST! Her photos are amazing she takes her time to capture the perfect shot! I would recommend her for every stage of your session journey. As for CADY the company my review is this: in regards to the digital package Option presented to me after paying for the most popular package session not using all of the scenes, but not getting a discount off of the price that I paid for the session. I think it is financially harsh to not offer digital packages in the same way that you offer print packages to force a parent to purchase all or none of the digital photos at a $900 price point on top of the photo session fee is excessive for this major milestone in our child's life and it seems a bit unfair and not consumer friendly in anyway. Offering a package with 10 digital photos for $100 or something like that is more palatable and fair to those who may not be in a financial position to pay almost $900 just to capture this milestone Especially if your photographer captures more than a handful of amazing shots (Again Allison H was amazing)!!! I think you should revisit this rip off option for senior pictures to market to all household income price points and not snatch away the opportunity for parents to brag about their child's milestones because they can't afford the picture proof. read more

This is literally just to take EVERY cent you have.... You spend close to $300+ day of the shot to receive ALL photos captured in digital download and advise this is the most cost effective method. To not have the digital download include the Cap and Gown photos. My daughter called in when this happened a few months back to be advised all cap and gown photos will be released in the Spring to have Cady again want someone to pay $300-$80 to receive all to one images of your child in their Cap and Gown ... The high schools need to stop working with companies like this that want to nickel and dime you for everything! read more

Zero stars. Another business ruined by venture capital. It may be legal but it is certainly immoral and unethical. Misleading marketing makes one believe two digital included in a package, or that there's custom editing. In a forced second sales pitch you are informed only get two digitals in a $900+ package. Will report to online bbb. You can hire the best wedding photog in town for less than the $3,100 package they pitch you to pay for over years worth of monthly payments through klarna. Truly despicable to extort loving parents with an emotional calculated video pitch. The kids who work there are nice, it's not their fault but what an evil scam. Do yearbook photo only for bare minimum price which will still be a couple hundred and book a private photographer who isn't a crook. Schools should stop working w these wolves of wallstreet when a school secretary can take an equally competent yearbook photo. read more

Cady Studios was a nightmare from start to finish. I came in for my daughter's senior pictures with a promo: buy the digital photos upfront and get the portfolio for $50, but the studio rang me up wrong and told me customer service would fix it. Customer service was hard to reach, had a major language barrier, and refused to honor what the studio promised. After weeks of calls and emails, they canceled my order without explanation or refund, and only after relentless follow-ups did they "expedite" it and promise a free 8x10--which took weeks to even start. To make matters worse, they're the only studio schools use for yearbook, graduation, and senior pictures, so you literally have no alternative. Disorganized, unprofessional, and frustrating--I do not recommend Cady Studios. Be prepared to chase them constantly just to get what you paid for. read more

It's walmart photography at professional photographer prices. Had to use them to get my son's yearbook photos since the school is contracted with them, but wouldn't ever choose them willingly... The experience is assembly line, impersonal, everything is fake, and the photos are meh. read more

Awful company, refused to give me a refund on prints that came in off center. The lady said purchased the photos so basically I'm out of luck. When I reviewed the photos they didn't look off center. Terrible company! read more

Total scam company. For senior photos, do yourself a favor and forgo the extra scenes beyond yearbook pics and cap and gown. The sell you a package that gets you all your digital images, but only send you 5 poses from each scene. No chance to preview more than that. They left out several images in my daughter's download and are refusing to let me preview the others that are missing before they allow me to "swap." Go to a private photographer who will appreciate your business and treat you like an actual person for more scenes because their customer service is like talking to a brick wall. Once your in studio session (which was an ok experience) is done, you are handed off as a number in a call center. read more

Ill keep it simple. I'm looking to end this company's contract with the school system. They are very predatory and over priced. There is now was printed photos ever cost over $500 dollars. Very inconvenient . seeking money at every turn. not being able to go over proofs without a meeting. Just terrible and cookie cutter read more

Cany Studios is the most difficult and expensive photography studio that is contract with the school board to memorialize your childs first triumph. They mandate that in order to view the pictures taken . You take a day off and go sit with them or sit through a zoom presentation to simply view the photographs before you can decide which ones you want. They do this so you are pressured into purchasing extremely expensive packages. This is high pressure sales at its finest using our children's special day to do it. Shame on you! read more

This was such a waste of time. I understand that kids need to get their senior yearbook photos, but you definitely shouldn't have to go through all this for it. We skipped the last "extra scene" after we waited 40 minutes for the first one. Schools should not force everyone to go through this just to get a yearbook photo if they can't keep it efficient. Not everyone is here for their glamour shots. read more

I have to say we really enjoyed our time here! And that's coming in with concerns about how much money I would be dropping! Lol! I had heard that Cady was expensive expensive and I'm not looking to spend mucho $$ on some pics BUT I did want to celebrate this important time in my daughters life graduating high school so finally went online and made reservations for her session, it was pretty easy and I really liked how you could pick how much you wanted, you didn't have to do the whole package! We picked the 4 poses one that had cap and gown, senior pic, and 2 pretty backgrounds.... we were greeted and shown around then walked to each of the studios for the pics, a professional photographer was at each station ready to take your pics. It looked like the pics will be beautiful! They touch them up then send you proofs in the mail, so we're waiting on those, but the preview pics looked great! I'm hoping to pay around $300 for the actual pics ( not sure yet) so not too bad, it was a good experience! read more

CADY - Senior pics, it was fun - Session Photography Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

Absolutely heart broken and this company is no help. We were pushed to purchase digitals and about $208. When we received the digitals they were awful. You download one to make sure it's not a trademark but it's actually awful shadowing. Then they send you an email of $99 special for the same thing you purchase. Do yourself a favor and just get your basic package and hire someone to do the rest. Atleast you can see what you're purchasing. The manager who called me was also awful, told me because you viewed ONE it's not my fault and you can't see the photos without viewing The company is unfortunately a scam and they are contracted with the school. So do the cheap $45 photo package for the year book and hire a company who actually lets you see your proofs and picks them. So you don't get scammed like us read more

My son had his senior portraits done today and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. From the moment we walked through the door they had us checked in and ready to go. They were organized and efficient with the entire process. All of the photographers did a great job while working with my son but Marina was extremely helpful in expediting us through the sessions. She was creative and took great care in getting the perfect shots. Thank you for a great experience! I'm read more

the photographer Antonio R was very special and helped make my photos beautiful. he does a very good job. but CADY is a scam, they make you pay around $300 to take the photos and to be able to get all your photos you have to pay an absurd amount, i did not like how they edit the photos, after taking each photo we looked at the photo with my mom and it looked very nice but after they edited them it did not look good. it is crazy that they have a $2000 package to be able to receive all the photos you liked on a USB. totally disappointed, i cried that day. read more

Momma Jo is the best! Completely recommend! She took her time and made sure I liked the photos she got! Amazing customer service!

I went with my son to get his senior high school pictures. It's nice and clean inside but some people might think the music is a bit loud. The staff is great and after a few poses and clothing changes, we were done in about 45 minutes. Of course the picture packages are expensive but the photos are important. read more

Horrible experience when it came time to choose your package. No prices listed online, can't call them either. They hosed my daughter to the time of 1995.00 for a memory stick. Shameless. read more

My daughter had her Senior pictures and we were very lucky to have British as her Stylist. She was amazing and even followed us around to make sure her hair and makeup were right for each shot. She was an amazing person, very professional, super talented and a very kind person. I would recommend British to anyone. She made our day and my daughter look beautiful for her pictures. Her photographer, Vincente was amazingly talented and very creative with the pictures he took. My daughter loves to paint and brought her pictures she painted and incorporated them into some of the pictures, and he even had her paint through some clear plexiglass and it turned out amazing! On our outdoor excursion, he was very patient and continued to show his amazing talent and creativeness with outdoor scenes and lighting. He was also a very nice and kind person, and very professional. I would recommend him to anyone! read more

I scheduled the $299 Elite Session for my daughters Senior Photos & at the time I scheduled/paid for this we had NO IDEA that we weren't getting any pictures, that was not clear at all! I was under impression that I was going to get AT LEAST 1 copy of each picture we took, but we aren't actually getting anything unless we want to pay another couple hundred-thousand more dollars! I'm extremely unhappy with this & wish I would have known ahead of time, because I wouldn't have scheduled this higher priced session, I would have just done the senior yearbook photo & gap+gown at school! I'm extremely unhappy about not being able to afford any of my child's beautiful pictures!!! The package prices are so extremely expensive and not well explained. I think this is beyond unfair, my daughters pictures are absolutely stunning, but we can't afford to spend $900-$3000 for a picture package!! read more

This company does not care about you or your kid, all they want is the money. My daughter had senior photos done there and the photographer was showing my daughter the action shots among others as they did them. She was excited about going to get them at the photo appointment to purchase them. Well, whoever did the editing of the action shots that the photographer showed her, Just removed them from our selection choices. My daughter is a dancer at her school and they did photos of jumps and other dance moves. When we asked where the photos were, we were told "No, there was no way to recover them and the only thing they were concerned with was how much money I was going to spend. I spent over a thousand dollars and when I said my daughter was upset because the photographer had shown her pictures that looked better than what CADY Studios had chosen for us. They did not care and they said " OH WELL that's too bad". Some of the photos they chose for use had colored lighting that washed her out and made it hard to see her face. I wish they cared about what they were doing, the person who did our final showing was faking and only cared about the money (and she was training another to be that same way). Samuel P. read more

Scheduled my sons senior pictures MONTHS ago- called this morning at 9am to confirm my sons appointment at 2pm today & was told we are all set. Show up to take pictures and they're CLOSED! No phone calls or emails to reschedule and when I called customer service number the lady was SO rude and unhelpful with zero empathy for the situation. What a joke of a company that they can't do a simple thing as CALLING YOUR UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS TO RESCHEDULE when deciding to not open. If I could give zero stars I would! read more

We had a wonderful experience. Everybody was so helpful. I didn't get the name of the girl that helped us but it started with a K. I think her initials were KL. We did Emerge, Living walls, timeless, shadowland and of course graduation and cap & gown. All of the different photographers we had were so helpful with the poses. This is our only child and she is graduating, Cady and Cady gave us an excellent memory! Thank you! Class of 2024! read more

I had a great session but when I went back for my presentation I felt like the young lady lied to me to make a sale right then. I asked so I won't be able to purchase pics online ever after today she said no, which was a lie I got in the car and boom I could purchase. I feel like they shouldn't just try to make the sale. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I have another kid coming up I don't know if I will go to them. He can take his cap and gown pictures there but anything else is a no for me. read more

Took our son for his senior pictures and everything ran efficiently. We are pretty sure it was due to the excellent service we received from our photographer, David Johnson. David is quite the professional and offered many tips along the way! read more

I recently went in with my Son for Senior Pictures. I was absolutely blown away by the young ladies that assisted us. Ashaunte was our photographer and she was amazing. ZhaDe represents Cady well. read more

The people who work here are all awesome but the pricing is ridiculous. Of course most highschool seniors are corralled to the studio for those memorable senior photos but should your package cost more than your monthly mortgage payment? It's unfortunate how expensive this "service" costs. Don't get me wrong, the photographers are awesome and amazingly talented and THEY deserve the money. Cady! You're out of control... read more

Cady, you should be ashamed of yourselves! Your pricing is ridiculous and your business practices are predatory! I can't believe you charged me $200 just to take pictures with barely out of high school photographers, worn out ugly garments, basic mediocre backgrounds and props to then turn around and try to extort aka sell me some digital pictures for $2000.00!! More than my own mortgage! Then to make matters worse, you blatantly tell me to my face that packages are priced different for everyone depending on how you booked your session with no other options! It's laughable that y'all expect high school parents to pay wedding photo prices! Y'all think you're slick making these basic lil videos to try and pull on heartstrings to get the person to emotional buy! Slick but not smart because once a client figures that out you lose a client for life! And then some because I will absolutely tell everyone I know not to do business with such a disgusting company!! No wonder y'all came out in the news just earlier this year! The whole cady family should be ashamed and embarrassed!! Oh and then when we confronted them with how much others paid for the same they refused to offer us the same package because we booked "elite" ( not even know we did that nor did it come with any benefits other than the lil "presentation". )We didn't get anything special like a stylist or hair/makeup. We got a "private" photographer but not an actual private photographer. Just an employee of theirs super sweet but barely out of high school amateur that takes pics as a hobby. So what is the benefit of being "elite"? So I can pay more than my friend that went on the same day, got the same backgrounds, and had no one stylist like me but just happen to book a non-elite session?? Y'all are shameful and greedy!! read more

Good photo session with the photographers. Also, we receive good customer service especially from Shakera.

My daughter was a little nervous but settled in with ease as the photographers talked her through posing, relaxing and having fun. I would say that some photographers were more into it than others. Shout out to Kenny B. for being meticulous and a perfectionist. He took her formal/yearbook shot and really did a great job bringing her out of her shell and making sure she looked her best. Huge props to Kayleigh!!! You can tell she enjoys her job! She is super engaging and worked hard in getting many different poses and angles. My daughter felt very comfortable around her which helped make the pictures come out great. Kayleigh was so good that we requested for her to take the rest of her pictures in the different settings. CADY is the Absolute WORST! they basically try to rob parents blind. They play on parents because its very emtional for you having your child about to leave the nest. They seperate the packages and hold the cap and gown pictures HOSTAGE! so you have to pay additional and buy them seperate. Do not believe the GOOD REVIEWS! becaus they are reviews from employees. You should definitely schedule an appiontment with photographer and get quality pictures because these are overpriced and subpar. They even show you untouched pictures and try to chanrge you additonally to removed blemishes,DISGUSTING! but don't trust me. See for yourself just hold on to your credit card. Because if you don't they will charge for already returned items on time and argue. So glad I went elsewhere and got beautiful pictures for half the price. The schools should be ashamed allowing this company to rob parents for YEARS! just read the comments on other sites. read more
