Elaine's professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail were truly impressive. She was always well-prepared, thorough, and proactive in handling our situation. Her ability to organize information made the process seamless and stress-free. What stood out the most was her excellent communication skills and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure everything was handled promptly and accurately at a very reasonable cost. The combination of kindness, quality work, and affordability is rare and I highly recommend Elaine to anyone in need of reliable and exceptional paralegal support.

After listening to my needs she notified me their office didn't handle my particular matter, but she promised to send me in the right direction. If they took this level of care of me and I was not even a paying client, I can only imagine the care they give to their clients. My experience was very brief, but very memorable. They will be at the front of mind if anyone I know ever needs their services.

I Was with this law office for about a year, almost two when Chris Carter voluntarily signed off on…read moremy case due to my inability to make higher payments than what I was at the time paying, of $100.00 a month. I paid all I could manage financially, since he allowed via the judge to order that I pay my child's full private school tuition. The day he signed off on my case, Chris told me specifically that I could leave, "there's no court today, you're home-free." Which resulted in the judge ordering me to pay the ex back $400.00 a month and up to a total of close beyond $14,000.00 for criminal attorney fees and the crooked, court ordered monitor that my P.I. Caught breaking the rules of supervised visitation and carrying on a relationship. Not only did judge Cheryl Kersey order that I pay the ex back, but Chris nor the office notified me of this court order therefore, I didn't fight it within the allotted 30 day timeframe given and wasn't able to appeal the decision. Chris should've fought harder in court for my child and I. Mr. Carter could've told the judge that we didn't want supervised visitation lifted, but that the judge look at the P.I. Evidence against the NCP (non custodial parent/respondent) and the crooked, court ordered visitation supervisor, but he did not. The money I've been ordered by the court to pay the ex, could've gone to paying Mr. Carter however, I'm now only able to afford a lesser payment than what I had been paying him initially. Mr. Carter's office stopped sending me statements for payments and I had so much going on at that time that I'd forget to make a payment, he ended up suing me for around $7,000 - $8,000, he won by default, because the judgement was made in my absence. I was at work during the hearing. I'm thankful to Chris Carter for the one and only, best thing he ever did for my case, which was to divorce the ex and I.

Both were knowledgeable, and we retained Timothy. Our case was resolved out of court with a favorable modification to the custody schedule. Timothy took the time to understand the details of our situation and consistently showed empathy and reassurance throughout the process. He was professional, well spoken, direct, and knew the case like the back of his hand. His case coordinator, James Chase, was responsive, which helped us feel informed at every step. Family court is stressful, and clear communication made a difference. The firm is expensive, but for us, the results were worth it. We now have peace of mind knowing we have strong representation advocating for my husband's rights as a father. Highly recommend if you're seeking counsel to represent you to go the distance.

To follow-up on my previous review of this law firm, I only wanted to add the results I had been…read morewaiting for. Chandra saw my poor review of her performance and effort in my divorce & custody case she was handling, so she retaliated against me, by forcing my Appeals Case attorney, Ron Funk, who also works for the same law firm, to completely drop my case, with only a couple of weeks until we were set to appear and Ron was supposed to present his appeals arguments. Instead, I ended-up with no choice but to appear for my appeal representing myself and arguing all of Ron Funks points, which frankly were confusing and referencing precedent set in various lawsuits and Supreme Court decisions in recorded law history. Since I'm no attorney, when the appeals board attorneys began grilling me about proving our points through citing specific case-law, etc. I did a horrible job and barely understood what they were asking me. Instead of being straight forward and simple, everything in the Civil/Family Law Court system in America, especially in San Bernardino Superior Courts, in San Bernardino, CA., the sense of fairness and justice is obviously broken, corrupted, biased, and nothing need be evidence based, most decisions are made at one judges whims after glancing at the courtroom minutes and orders, for all of 15 minutes (AT BEST, I'd SAY) and the blindfold upon the face of lady justice has slipped off completely. Oh well, I was only appealing a judge allowing my ex to move my 3 young children from California to Florida, which predictably alienated me from my children completely. The results of the appeal did not go my way, and the appeals judges cited that while they didn't really fault me for not being fluent with old case-law nor Ron Funks writings, but they said Ron Funks arguments did not show cause for reversing the previous court ruling allowing her to move. However, I did win part of the appeal in which my divorce judge unconstitutionally forced me into providing hair-follicle drug testing results (all of which came back negative for drugs - yet those results were somehow improperly interpreted by the idiot judge as being positive, and the 3 hair-follicle test results I provided, were the basis for me losing custody of my children completely), which is illegal in California, so those requests for those hair drug tests and all of the results, and anything pertaining to those results were all stricken from the divorce case records. Naturally that implies that custody of my children would be given back to me, however to this day on January 27, 2026, I have yet to have custody modified back to normal 50/50 split between my ex and I. I believe if Ron Funk was present to explain his own writings and his own logic and thought process for the appeal case, that I may have won that appeal and I wouldn't have had to quit my career of 25 years in California to move to my kids neighborhood in Florida, and this nightmare I'm unable to wake from may have been prevented like Ron Funk had convinced me he would and could do. So, since Ron Funk recommended I use Chandra for my divorce case, and she performed poorly and unethically, IN MY OPINION, and I fired her and wrote a review of her on Yelp!, she and the other partners at Holstrom, Block & Parke discussed my review, and then told Ron Funk he needed to drop my appeals case immediately. Ron Funk told me he had no choice because of my review of a partner at his law firm. He then sent a substitution of attorney form , leaving me with no attorney for the appearance in court for my important life-altering appeals case the day after I posted Chandra's harsh, yet honest and accurate review.
