Nice space. Kind of odd to write a review for a funeral home. But the priest was very nice and the space was very pretty.

You know it's never good when you end up going to more funerals in a year than baby showers or…read moreweddings... I guess I'm just getting older! They have a large parking lot (which is a nice change, not all funeral homes in NJ have this much space for parking), and a relatively small footprint of a building. The space is smaller as the ceilings are lower and not as elevated as some of the newer funeral homes I've been to so a bit tight seating in rows behind the couches upfront for the family. The staff here was quick and efficient in getting us inside and seated, going through the viewing. They have audio/video support for videos and memory slideshows, microphone, and while they accidentally interrupted the speakers before they were all done, they did a quick closing and helped wrap up the signing of the guest book and were in no rush to send guests going.

They were easy to talk to, helped us in our decision making and worked to optimize our budget. They had beautiful touches, such as a 11x14 portrait displayed in the foyer, that no other offered. I will cherish that portrait. Coffee and cookies were offered to those paying their respects. These are small touches that mean a lot. David, Danny, Adriana, Morgan, Debbie, Peter, to name a few, were supportive and easy to work with. I know dad would have been proud of the send off. thank you to Waitt for honoring him.

Going on five months ago on the recommendation of Forest Green cemetery my family sent Uras…read moreMonuments a certified check for almost $2,500 full payment for both the plague and $660 for the placement of the plague, a little over three months later (the timwe were told it would take to make) after calling to find out if it was ready I was told it would be ready it wasn't, but that by the weekend of the 4th of July, it would be ready, a month later I called Forest Green and was told it hadn't arrived yet, they gave me Uras Monuments number to call myself notwithstanding they recommened them and told me they have a great working relationship! So I called and spoke to someone named Andy who at first told me that the plague was lost in the mail, after I asked if they don't insure a plague of such expence where they would have a tracking number I was told that after they look into it, they get back to me someting in the future, no I said, callthem then call me back today and her did, only telling me this time that the plague isn't ready because I didn't sent them the ok to start, now again I state the bill was paid in full and not the %50 up front that they request, My response was that that we had sent not only the certified check but with it the ok on the draft, funny how they not only cashed the check, but paid Forest Green to place a plague never made, lets give them the benefit of the doubt and say the approvel wasn't inculded I would think that after Three months of having received the check, why did they wait for me to follow up? they today I told siad Andy that we would like a full refund and this clown tells me ok, all but the placement fee which Forest Green wouldn't refund me, I responded with We sent Uras Monuments a certified check for close to $2,500 and that the it was their problem to get back the $660 they paid Forest Green as that shouldn't have been piad before the plague was sent to forest green, so I'm going to wait and see how much is refunded and if it's not the total we sent them then we're taking them to court, so you've been warned about Uras Monuments business practices!!! I recomment Don't Do It!!!!! Stay tuned!

I had initially reached out to another local company for the same service, and had great difficulty getting answers from it. We turned to Uras instead and are very pleased with the service, the final result, and the cost. I would definitely recommend this company.

Emotionally drained and hard to make decisions we were gently guided during this extremely tough time. The Boglioli Family and staff were truly amazing. From the minute I spoke to Scott on the phone on April 1 and even up to today as he follows-up on every last detail, I am filled with a feeling of trust, confidence & warmth that emanates from the Holmdel Funeral Home Family. I was also struck by how much time Scott and his father, Bill, spent with us. The Boglioli family took it upon themselves to do so much more then bury my father with dignity, arrange fir a military funeral on a moments notice and make sure that the obituaries were placed. Scott and his family have this visceral understanding that we are looking for and needing comfort from every word that they speak. They knew that my mother needed more than just planning; she needed to talk and she needed to feel welcome and not rushed... And we got so much more than we ever dreamed could come our way on such a sad day. There's so much I could write, but that would be about our details. If you are reading this, You are probably in mourning, and You can count on this family to take care of every detail and treat you with sensitivity and, yes, love. Even the discussion of money was put on the back burner by them -- they focused on the funeral and comforting us. This is what we needed and received at a time when our emotions were at their rawest and our manners were at their worst. You will be in the best hands during this sad & most emotional time. God Bless You. Hilary Kramer, Holmdel, NJ
