I first met Dr. Boon (short for his real name) in the ER at Palomar Medical Center, several years…read moreago. He quickly analyzed my condition and took the necessary steps immediately. He left monitoring instructions with the nurses however they were not followed and my condition regressed. When Dr Boon returned and noted my condition he immediately corrected the problem and politely yet firmly explained his expectations to the nurses. I really appreciated this and decided to ask him to be my Urologist. Over the next several years he has taken care of my chronic issue efficiently and effectively and I am very satisfied with his knowledge and patient care. I currently have a low form of prostrate cancer which he detected early and explained treatment options. I went to an oncologist and he had recommended the same option that Dr Boon suggested. Dr Boon is a great Doctor, very knowledgeable, and current on latest developments in Urology. He communicates well, is friendly, and always keeps the patient relationship a priority. He listens to the Patient. The office staff has always been cooperative and helpful. I highly recommend Dr Boonjindasup!

I had done shockwave procedure few weeks ago by another physician but did not fix my problem and was scheduled by the same doctor for laser procedure but unfortunately not till for another few weeks. the excruciating pain made me call Dr. Boon office and luckily made an appointment three days later. Due Tricity medical group not being linked to any other local medical group I suggested to copy paste some important test result and was given an email address to sent the info and was supposed to get confirmation reply email. After waiting teo days, I finally called to Dr. office the day before appointment day and not inly the office claimed I was not in their appointments system which changed their mind after a while but also mentioned the person who shared the office email address to get copies of my related medical records was not supposed to do that. They asked if my previous medical groups can send or fax directly to their office which that aline could take weeks. I personally think his office needs more trained and patient friendly medical personnel and more. I am sorry to say that but I had no choice but to cancel my appointment and save myself more agony dealing with that office.

Dr. Phillips is outstanding. My husband really felt comfortable and at ease with him. My rating is…read morereally 3 stars because even though the doctor was great, his staff needs a lot of improvement. Dr. Phillips read and spoke to us about our complaint and I like the fact that he acknowledged it. We only encountered with Yolanda and Angela at the follow up visit and they were professional. But, I'm not sure if that professionalism came simply because I sent a complaint email prior to the appointment? A little history: I dropped off my husbands paperwork right after surgery. It was their lunch hour so I slid it through the door and called later to confirm the receipt of the paperwork. Yolanda was very sour that day, I let it go because we all have bad days right? My husband called a few days later for his appointment time and wanted to confirm the location because when we googled Dr. Phillips different locations appeared. Yolanda was passive aggressive. I got fed up and that's when I decided to email the doctor, because in all honesty the people that should be working in healthcare should be sweet caring people; there's plenty of other career fields out here for people with strong character. At the follow up appointment Dr. Phillips filled out some paperwork, which was appreciated because it was needed to start the LOA. We spoke to Angela on our way out and she confirmed she'd submit the EDD part on their end. It got submitted two days later after the appointment date and I'm not sure if it was because my husband emailed them about it? My husband said Angela replied by informing him of the receipt submission and thanking him for giving their office the receipt number at the follow up appointment. Obviously our perspective on this is that she tried to make it seem that we barely gave it to their office when in reality it was given to them the same day as the surgery. I guess I can say is that I'm glad this surgery was a one-time entity and no more office visits will be needed like a PCP's office. At the end of the day, the Dr. is the one who performs surgery and we have zero complaints about him!

The redundant intake forms, get ready to write down your social, address and date of birth at least 8 times. They are fat with desperate patients and I felt like cattle. I'm not accustomed to writing bad reviews but please find a more professional urologist.
