Sometimes the wait time is a little long when you call. What I truly appreciate though is the staff are very caring and will always make time for their patients. Yesterday I took my son to the ER at 5am. Before the office even opened someone had read the report and called me with advice and to get us in same day for an appointment. Ashley the NP came up with a treatment protocol that none of the ER drs had even suggested. She has excellent bedside manner and is the only medical professional that my son has allowed to look in his ears. Let me tell you Dr Nichols is the best pediatrician out there. My son had a medical emergency last year where we called for an appointment while at the hospital. It was late and she took it upon her to see us. The entire office was already closed. She treated his symptoms and I couldn't be more thankful. She communicates with us and follow up with emails. Whenever we are there to see her she is never rushed And always tries to pinpoint and think of all possible causes. Her kindness and dedication to her patients is truly appreciated. He is now 17 and I actually fear of finding another doctor. I hope coastal pediatric will continue seeing him as long as they can after turning 18.

Saw Dr. Gifford's great reviews but was worried I'd have to wait weeks as she's booked up in advance (deservedly so as she's amazing!) so I called yesterday morning at 10:15am, and by luck and the sweetness of the staff particularly the nice lady I spoke to whose name escapes me, they had a 10:30am cancellation and told me to come on in! Staff didn't want me to lose any visit time so they let me fill out the new patient forms after I met with her... Dr. Gifford took one look, new immediately what the problem was and went to work right away! She fixed me up, gave me recommendations for new shoes and I was on my way.
