Brandon was very helpful in providing guidance on selling strategies and gave me a plan to prepare for this recent tax season. I love their subscription pricing system as it allows for a monthly payment and relationship build over time, vs a huge lump sum payment that really makes you take a pause. It's pretty brilliant. The team is highly responsive and you can see they have high integrity. I just love this. Onboarding is a challenge if you have many accounts that need to be catalogued, but I have faith they'll improve the process & tools. They offer financial education via video tutorials if that's your thing, but it's not a requirement. The actual consults are organized, efficient, and down to earth in terms of financial vocab. Overall, we're very please and looking forward to working with them for many months to come. Highly recommend!

We have always been savers, but knew we weren't making the most of what we had... and we were worried that we'd never be able to retire, or even if we could survive without two huge incomes in the Bay Area. Aaron listened to all our concerns, looked at our finances, and then went over everything he'd do so we could feel comfortable about our future. He likes to say he's not a therapist, but I literally got more out of his meetings than I would with any therapy. Aaron makes you think about what's really important to you in life, and how best to use money to actually be happy. With his guidance, my husband and I are so much more comfortable with our future. Aaron is so easy to talk to and we mesh well with him. We had actually talked to another advisor before him (another recommendation), but didn't feel very comfortable with him. I heard about Certified Divorce Financial Advisors by reading a book called Divorce, Think…read moreFinancially Not Emotionally. I looked up CDFAs in California and found Karlyn Henry who is a member of this firm. I can't say enough good things about her! I hired her because her bio stressed how she focuses on the client and is flexible depending on their situation. That is an understatement. She listens closely, gathers all relevant information and puts it into a format that follows CA divorce law precisely. When it came time for negotiations, I was fully prepared because she explained everything to me clearly. I am not exaggerating when I say I got over 100 times her fee in my divorce. While that may not apply in every case, it surely did in mine as I almost gave up a big chunk of assets until she showed me the big picture. She is a pleasure to work with and has a sense of humor too, which never hurts when going through divorce. I highly recommend you give her a call and have a consult. She's the best!!

This same ex-husband has zero respect for professionals of any professions. You know how there is always "that guy" who thinks he's the smartest one in the room? That's my ex.. Jason was our "financial neutral". He had a big job. Somehow he was able to gain my ex's respect and trust. Something that never happens. Jason was also able to lead these meetings between us with such grace and never, ever made me feel that he was favoring my ex-husband over me. He was some kind of wizard! Truly. I did not walk away from a single interaction with him feeling that I was not as important as my ex. Jason's ability to do that while dealing with someone who can be difficult (not me!) was remarkable. Jason was also incredibly responsive when needed. I don't think the man sleeps, to be honest. He would answer any and all questions. His patience is admirable to say the least. Divorce sucks. It's scary and full of all kinds of emotions. Having someone involved with the personality and skills like Jason made the process a whole lot easier.
