After taking time off work, and time off school I was immediately met by the doctor with a apology for bringing me in and letting me know I didn't need any referral and there was no reason to be seen that day. I was still given a bill even though there was ZERO service provided. There are so many other options for pediatricians in the area and I will never ever go back here due to the poor customer service received. Go somewhere else!

You'll need your ID, insurance card and debit card. If you're ready, you won't have to wait as long, and that waiting room gets pretty packed with sick kids so you don't want to be in there any longer than you have to be. The office staff and nurses are not very friendly, but maybe I wouldn't be either if I had to spend all day Saturday taking care of sick children. I came in last Saturday with our little girl. The waiting room is spotless, and they get you in quickly. We were here when they opened at 10 and we were talking to a nurse by 10:10. Not long after that we were in an exam room with the doctor. Dr. Moore saw us, and took good care of us. He was thorough and friendly, but I could have used his instructions either printed out because he talks really fast. After we left I wished I had taken notes. But that's on me - I'm sure the ten families sitting in the waiting room by the time we left were super happy he moves quickly. They sent our prescriptions to the pharmacy and we were back in the car, on our way to get the promised donuts by 10:45. Not too shabby.

Best Pediatric Doctor at Just Kids Pediatrics N May location in okc! (Worth the drive even if you're not in the area.) My kids E & R (my kids initials only, for privacy) absolutely love her, and always actually get excited to see her when they have upcoming doctor appointments. She is so friendly on top of all of her great qualities, and on top of how much she cares for the parents, she always makes my kids feel seen, heard, and reassured! My kids and I, love how kind and empathetic she is. The fear some kids have of going to a doctor/ dentist does not exist when seeing Dr.Palm. So many parents say the Doctor they have for their kids pediatrician, doesn't take any consideration of parent concern or input. Well, I've found you the perfect doctor you've been looking for, for you and your kids to switch to. We've seen another Dr here at N May in the past and there is no comparison, Dr.Palm is the Best doctor at JKP N May, and the best kids doctor in OKC/Edmond in general!! If you've been searching for the BEST doctor for your kids, you can quit searching like I did. Dr. Palm is the only doctor my precious kids will be seeing for any and all Dr. Appointments.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am writing this as a former patient, and this experience is…read moresomething that has stayed with me for years. We came in simply to meet a new pediatrician after our previous doctor retired. What was supposed to be a routine introduction quickly turned into one of the most traumatic medical experiences of my life. Before my dad could even give consent, Dr. Aston had already ordered three vaccinations and stated that we would be charged no matter what. There was no conversation, no explanation, and no attempt to make me feel safe. I was 13 years old. When I realized I was about to receive three shots without any warning or preparation, I had immediate and overwhelming anxiety. Instead of giving me even a moment to breathe or calm down, two nurses physically restrained me. They held down my legs and chest while I cried and begged them to stop. Without asking for permission, they pulled down my pants to give the shots in my leg. I felt completely exposed and powerless. In the middle of this, one of the nurses knocked both of my cochlear implants off. Suddenly, I couldn't hear anything. I was completely cut off from the world around me, unable to understand what was happening, unable to communicate, and unable to see clearly as my arms were being held down against my chest. It was terrifying. I was tense, scared, and in pain. But more than that, I felt stripped of any control over my own body. That feeling has never fully gone away. Even now, years later, I can still remember exactly how it felt, physically and emotionally. I am now 20 years old and entering the medical field myself. This experience has shaped me deeply, and it will always serve as a reminder of the kind of provider I refuse to become. Patients, especially children, deserve dignity, consent, and compassion. I was not given any of those things here.

When I told them I would like to wait and do research (like if my insurance covered the shot) was told if I didn't get it today I would be charged for it no matter what because they already drew it up. And be charged again when we decide to do it.

Five stars for Junie's pediatrician and this practice!…read more We see Dr. Melissa Lindenau, and we've also seen the Nurse Practitioner Micah. We're delighted to have such a talented, capable doctor and her talented team so close to our house, but it is worth a drive for an easy-going pediatrician who goes out of her way to make sure I'm not super stressed about the little things (a bout of diaper rash or a little cold) but have all the support I need on the big things (breastfeeding, vaccinations, etc.). She is a mom of four, so she has a lot of valuable insights for a busy working mom. We also love Amy and Jennifer on the office staff, and Dr. Lindenau's main nurse, Ashley. She is just as important to our experience as Dr. L, and she is a wonderful nurse. She's very good at her job, equally great with kids and parents, and we just really like her bedside manner. They've been able to get us in quickly the two times we've needed to be seen so far for something other than regularly-scheduled appointments. Most recently when I called, they got me in within an hour to see the NP, which was all we needed and worked perfectly for us. The other reason to go here is they are affiliated with Children's Hospital, which is clearly the hospital of choice for young children in OKC. Meaning, Junie's pediatrician would have privileges at Children's should we need that for any reason. I hope we don't need that, but it is a good think to think about just in case. I like to think this will Juniper's doctor until she's in college!
