Three of the 4 were handed back to me seemingly okay. One dog, my most vulnerable senior dog was returned with obvious neglect. She is 14 and struggles to move around. So you would assume they would take extra good and gentle care of her. Instead, she is returned to me with cuts all over her face her tail her feet, a large mass swollen on her thigh that appears to have pressure ulcer from laying on concrete because you're not allowed to bring a dog bed or blankets for them. And feces on her body. Her leg from the mass to the toes are completely swollen and show signs of clear edema. I am disgusted with the care that was provided to my dog when I trusted this place to take care of her while I was out of town. I have canceled all future appointments with this facility. Do not bother boarding your pet here or seeking veterinarian care. I assure you they will find a way try invoice you for services you didn't want or don't need or add services to your invoice that aren't applicable at the end of their stay. They failed her, and I felt I had to fight just to have her examined. The tech had the nerve to ask me "did she arrive like this". What?! Obviously not. They just examined them a week prior for their annuals and complements them on how healthy and well taken care of they look, saw them during intake, and is suppose to examine them daily during their stay. How do you miss something like that?! Neglect and incompetence. Do not board your pet here!

She said Retired now and she went to Midway Animal Clinic. Unfortunately, I took my dog to Petsmart to be groomed and they cut her and didn't tell me so I had to see Dr. Lackey. I was so impressed. I didn't think there was anyone that could even touch Dr Ferguson. And he didn't, but he came very close. The women that answered the phone they are awesome. You can even text them back on their text. They send out and ask them questions and they'll get back to you with the answers. They are so nice. They are so polite. They are so kind. They care not only about the animals, but they care about the owners as well. I cannot say enough good things they only give five stars. I would rate them 20 stars. And their pricing is so reasonable. A wellness check up is only I don't have the invoice in front of me but like 200 and some dollars where it's over three or 400 at other places. Now that doesn't count the shots and stuff but still everything that I've encountered. There has been way cheaper with 1000% of Care. If you're not taking your animals there you're missing up. I've been taking my dogs here since we moved to the area in 2016. They're just up the road and as…read moreword has spread through our neighborhood most people take their pets here. When we started coming here it was just Dr. Packard but she's recently added another vet, Dr. Haymore. Both have been great caring for my pets. I have never felt that the vets were over testing, over charging, or otherwise taking advantage of us as a customer. Conversely, there have been times my maltipoo has been ill that I've asked for bloodwork and been told it was taken recently and likely wouldn't have changed. So long story short this vet won't take advantage of you. I lost my chihuahua in 2018 and feel Dr. Packard did everything possible to save him, and suggested euthanasia at the appropriate time. My maltipoo has extensive stomach issues and Dr. Haymore walked me through every single treat ingredient to isolate what was triggering her problems. We removed that treat and she was healthy again. Recently she went into congestive heart failure and was hospitalized for two days at an emergency hospital. This whole situation was new to me and she needed a cardiologist to get an accurate assessment of her heart. Vet cardiologist's are 5-6 months out on appointments but at her follow up appointment I asked for referrals to every facility possible. Bel Aire delivered and found a vet in Hickory that got her in within 10 days of hospitalization. Her medication is working, Bel Aire and the cardiologist have had great communication. I cannot be more thankful to have an honest and knowledgeable veterinary office to take my dog to. Highly recommended.

Having been taking my pet there for a few years. The problem have is with Dr. Poore. I explained my…read moredog had some digestive problems and she suggested a barium swallow and x-ray. I asked the cost and was told $250. After explaining I was on a fixed income she said she understood but stated it would be unethical for her to diagnose without this test. My problem is, not once since I have been going there have they ever said we will reduce the cost for a test, NEVER. My initial visit was for her bordatella booster which Dr. Poore didn't give her. To business explaining the pros about the barium swallow. She asked ridiculous questions like is she on a heart worm prevention? If you look in the chart you would see that she is. I would prefer Dr. Chappell take care of my dog, not Dr. Poore! His support staff are very nice.
