I cannot say the same for the groomers. I had to remind them to clean my dog's ears several times. My poor Yorkie looked terrible several times after being cut there. He looked like a rat. One time they didn't cut the hair from around his ears and I thought his ears were flopping on their own as I never had a yorkie before. It was because they didn't cut the hair on his ears. But, why???? There was an issue almost every time I got my dogs groomed and I grew unhappy over time. Before I put the blame all on Kathy's business, it was my fault for canceling at the last minute quite a few times. So, I can imagine how frustrating that was for her. We finally ended our relationship today when she told me the groomers told her they did not want me to return. I was with Kathy's grooming for 11 years. I will miss her. But, I will not miss Kathy's Grooming the business. There are many great grooming businesses in this area, especially mobile grooming businesses competing for business. If businesses want to stay competitive they should make sure they they strive for excellent customer service or risk losing customers.

Cooper is now three years old (he's our big Labrador/Newfoundland mix, over 100 pounds!), and Sadie is 11 (our sweet American Pitbull and Siberian Husky mix). From the moment my husband and I arrived, Angel was prompt, kind, and ready to take great care of them. Even though it was busy, Angel greeted us right away as soon as we walked in the grooming door. She checked us in smoothly and handled Cooper and Sadie with so much patience and love. What really stood out to me is how calm Cooper has become thanks to consistent visits, Angel even mentioned how proud she was to see how well he's grown into the grooming routine. It means so much to us to know that our dogs feel comfortable and safe with her. Their coats came back shiny and beautiful (I always get the Furminator treatment!), and they looked so happy and well cared for when we picked them up. Angel truly goes above and beyond, not just for our dogs, but for everyone's. It shows in how my babies react when they see her, they know they're in good hands and their whole energy calms down. Kiana's calm, gentle approach is exceptional and is helpful for my dog. Lily looks and smells great without any unexpected/drastic changes or overpowering scents. The online scheduling system is user-friendly with helpful reminders, but mobile grooming is limited to Saturdays, which can make booking tricky. Kiana does her best to accommodate, including being willing to use another product when I had requested one time. Her communication about early arrivals or delays is better than most mobile groomers. Pricing is reasonable -- higher than what I paid in the Northeast but more affordable than another local option. However, the 5.75% credit card fee is frustrating, and I'd love modern payment options like Venmo or Apple Pay, as I prefer not to write checks and end up scrambling for the right amount of cash. Overall, Kiana is super sweet & gentle, the grooming quality is very good, and she is accommodating whenever she can be, but Kiana's availability and payment options keep this from being a 5-star experience.
