The groomers at RL Animal Hospital are THE best. Shannon and Lena are masters in their field. They…read moredo exactly what you agree upon after the brief drop off consult. All my dogs have been groomed by them over the last 5 years. They treat your pets as their own. If you are looking for a groomer, definitely try them. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Took my dog there for the very first time for his annual visit and vaccines. Started with a…read morenervous poop in the exam room when we got there. That cost me $7 for a "biohazard disposal". The the Dr walked in with vaccines already in hand, argues with me about what breed my dog is (I've done a DNA test). He insisted I was wrong. I asked when I requested the appt for a nail trim to be included because my 110 lb dog is very big and doesn't like having his nails cut. The Dr made me wrestle him on the table by myself while he gave him his vaccines and attempted to cut his nails, then when I was exhausted and unable to do it anymore out of fear he'd fall off the table, he moved him to the floor and made me get down and wrestle him again... by myself! That cost me $18 and he wasn't even able to cut all his nails. Then Dr looked at me said "everything looks good he's a strong dog"! And left the room. Never once even looked in his ears, mouth, barely touched him with the stethoscope to listen to his heart and lungs! End result, $300 and I now have to go elsewhere to have my dog examined! I have worked in vet care for many many many years... NEVER seen anything so ridiculous in my life! Stay far far away!!! Forgot to add that when I got home they called me to let me know they forgot to add the cost of a test ($45) when they billed me so I needed to pay over the phone right then and there. So lesson here is they are extremely detailed when it comes to taking your money but done actually examine your pet or do the work to earn the $$. I could have administered shots myself... surprised I wasn't expected to!!

They also follow up after appointments to see how everything's going with whichever cat I brought in. Other pluses is that staff turnover seems low so that's a sign that the employees are happy whereas some vets always seem to have different staff. I'm so glad that I started bringing my two kitties here.

I have two sphynx brothers who love going here and would happily visit every day if not for the fact that they hate car rides. Don't let the minor prepayment for your new patient appointment scare you off. I like the fact that the office does everything in their power to ensure that appointments are kept so that they don't have to rush when you are scheduled like human doctors do! Beyond that, their fees are very reasonable and they never shamed me for needing a price estimate up front because of my financial situation. As for their treatment of my boys, you would have thought they were royalty! They treated my two little princes so gently and were so doting that they had a great time every single time we went. Even when my tiny heathens were behaving like scoundrels (walking across laptops, demanding treats, being little piggies when they *were* giving treats, etc), Dr. Levine and her team were incredibly patient. I could also text with questions and pictures! In fact, I'll probably keep the latter up after I move ;) Take your pet(s) here. Especially your cats. I've used "cats only" vets and even those can't compare to Dr. Levine. I can't say enough good things about the whole place.

I'm so happy I found Odette - she is a wonderful veterinarian. I fostered my dog starting Sept 2015…read moreand when I started Odette's program in April 2016, my pup had had constant diarrhea for who knows how long. I went to his regular vet multiple times, was prescribed expensive prescription dog food, lots of medications, etc, but nothing helped. On top of that, he was gaining weight. He was 35lbs when I first brought him home ballooned up to 50lbs (too much for a dog his size). He was also extremely anxious, stressed, and very fear aggressive. The first thing Odette did was do blood work and saliva tests. Lo and behold, my dog was allergic to chicken! The main ingredient in his prescription food. Under Dr. Suter's care, I learned all about animal health and nutrition. My dog's anxiety and stress is getting much better as well. She also did some chiropractic work on him (he skips on his back legs) and he's now doing so much better than I could have ever thought. Odette does AMAZING work and her goal isn't just to fix your animal's symptoms. She works to fix their overall health as well. She teaches you on animal health, with up to date statistics and information, and strives to help you become an educated pet parent. I'm so thankful to have found her! Absolutely love Odette and highly recommend her to everyone.
