Concierge doctor visit?…read more I just received a call about her office going to a MD MVP service. Let me clarify what this is. A scheme to fleece patients into paying a fee REGARDLESS of the type of insurance you have. We have awesome insurance that covers everything. So my insurance will pay the practice top dollar and receive this fee for what? For doing what they are supposed to do. We will be happily leaving to find a descent practitioner of medicine that wont see us as dollar signs but rather human beings. Best of luck to everyone.

This was a great doctors office up until the point they have decided to offer MD VIP services. The…read moreannual fee is $1900 in order to get priority service or shall I say concierge service. How disgusting is this that they are doing this and basically dumping all their patients that have been there for over 15 years. They should have just said they were closing their offices and only taking on patients who can pay the concierge services. They are not a high end doctors office nor is the office appearance upscale. This is outrageous they are pushing the low or middle class out. Oh and also their solution if you can't get in for an appointment is to go to a medical express walk in. That's how important their patients are to them! I am again very disappointed in this direction they are headed.

I first met Dr. Li when she was the doctor for a family member who was in assisted living. She was…read morethe attending physician for the facility. I was impressed by her thoroughness and care. When our family member came out of the hospital, Dr. Li went through the notes and the medication list in great detail. She questioned various changes to the medications. She followed up with other physicians. She even gave me her cell phone. When I had questions, I texted her - and she quickly responded. As a result, I ended up changing my own primary care physician to Dr. Li. My experiences were again just just as amazing. In one case, she had prescribed antibiotics to me. I lost the medication partway through, and I texted her on a weekend. She quickly got back to me and had a replacement prescription phoned in to the pharmacy. I was so apologetic to bother her on the weekend, but she was so kind and helpful. Now, what really makes her practice stand out, on top of this, is her friendly and caring staff. I never feel as though I am treated as just another number. Her staff is just as kind, caring and friendly. Regarding wait times - you often find doctors who grossly overbook patients and you wait for hours. I have not experienced that here. Today, I needed an emergency appointment (Memorial Day weekend). They squeezed me in. There's a wait - but one would fully understand.

Not going back anymore. Patients are important too. I imagine there are other doctors in the East Brunswick area that would fill the void left by patients jumpinghe ship. She's a nice person really. But the way she runs a practice, leaves much to be desired. I beg others to look for another physician. I gave her, and her staff, the benefit of the doubt twice before, but I will never go back.

However, getting in to see him can be a bit difficult. Wait times vary, as he can range from being on time to over an hour late as he also works at two hospitals. His staff also can be iffy, but that's changed recently. They are much better now. Whatever, but that's not what upset me. He recommended some blood tests and at this point I reminded him that I have a phobia of blood tests as a result of a poisoned appendix when I was a child. I placed a phone call to Axia's Center for Breast Health two days ago - on 9/23/2026, during…read moreapproximately 1:30-2:30 pm. The woman who answered the phone was not Teresa. Teresa is always very kind and professional. I'd asked this person whom I was speaking with, and she stated her name quickly so that I could not quite hear it. I mentioned that I was having difficulty reconciling my reports and multiple discs given to me from this center so that I could transfer my records to another facility. Several weeks prior, the manager from Axia (who was very professional and lovely) called me and assured me that the center would transfer all of my records including all my images and reports, to the new facility. None of that occured. Back to the current conversation on 9/23/26 - I'd complained to this person that the discs that Axia had given to me, contained an incomplete date of birth for me, and my last name was misspelled; and, none of the discs were labeled with the particular diagnostic test. Proper labeling is a standard of care in all healthcare settings. The person on the phone talked over me during the entire conversation. She stated loudly: "You are responsible for your own information; not us." I tried to tell her that the facility released discs without appropriate labeling on the discs. How was I supposed to know what images (breast mammograms OR breast ultrasound, which breast, etc.) was on each of these discs? Moreover, the dates were incomplete - date of birth and dates of exams. There were years but no month and date. Again, she yelled over me: "YOU are responsible for YOUR OWN information." I am an APN (Advanced Practice Nurse) for 46 years. I work as an educator. Additionally, I co-owned and operated a dental practice for decades. I would never/ever have a person such as this speaking with patients and/or patient-facing in ANY clinical setting. She is unprofessional and potentially unsafe, since she is unwilling to listen to patients; and, she is very obviously misinformed and requires extensive re-education and retraining. Their patient portal (Healow) does not work well and I've found their staff oftentimes have difficulty using it. The two-factor authentication feature often does not work properly and there is little-to-no support for this portal. The original physician group of Brunswick Hills OBGYN, separated from Axia in May 2026. I was a patient of the original practice for 31 years. I found the original physician group is now practicing in New Brunswick on Plum Street. I'm so happy they separated from Axia. As an APN, I will not be referring patients to ANY Axia facility.
