They do nothing, they lie about what they have done, and the result will always end with you unhappy. Want to move and change your service address? Cynthia won't do that, but her staff will promise they did. So when you need to file an insurance claim, you get to discover that you don't have insurance on the property you live in, because Cynthia and her crack team lied to you for money. But don't try to tell them that, they love to yell at you after messing up. They also lie about when Cynthia is in the office so she doesn't have to face the people she messes with. She'll even turn the phones off to avoid accountability. Never ever give this woman any money or trust. They treat you like a cross between an ATM and a dog. Its disgusting. 1 star is far too many.

A State Farm agent at this location misquoted my fiance and I a price for personal article…read moreinsurance for my engagement ring. The price given to us both verbally and in writing was $110.61 for a full year of coverage. We paid this money fully upfront. Two weeks later, we received a letter that claimed we owed an additional $73.39, and that the full price was $184 for a full year of coverage -- more than 60% more than our original quote! The manager explained that the error occurred because the sales agent had misquoted us a price for Upstate New York, instead of Queens, NY. She refused to honor the original quote and said we could either go elsewhere for insurance, or accept the new full price. I understand that mistakes happen, but when they do, the company should eat the extra cost, not the customer! State Farm should honor its own quotes.

After my broker left Hotaling Group, my insurance was terminated. I did not receive any notice of termination (which may be because ING transferred the insurance to Voya Financial) or warning letter, and no one at Hotaling Group reached out to me . Voya has told me to reach out to Hotaling Group regarding the termination. I have reached out to Hotaling Group on 2 separate occasions. Both times, I was told someone would call me back the same day. No one has returned my phone calls. The least you can do is return your customer's call! I am now in the process of "reinstating" my life insurance, which will take 3-4 months and possibly a higher premium. After being a loyal customer for 9 years and insuring 2 apartments in Manhattan, I was just "poor…read moreshamed" by Mr. Chiprich. I insured 2 units and under trust I hardly thought about the premium. Today, when I am paying the annual premium for the 2 policies, I realized that the small unit had a higher premium. The explanation I was given was that the pricing algorithm was different hence the one I insured in 2010 was at a higher rate. When I asked if there was anything he can do to, he said that although I was "price sensitive", this "wasn't buying a sweater and asking for refund when the sweater goes on sale". Well, Mr. Chiprich this has nothing to do with price sensitivity. As a consumer I have the right to know what I am paying and I have the right to ask for a price review since you weren't looking out for your customers. Poor shaming doesn't really work when you want to silence people.
