As a mentor for a first generation college student, Chandy helped me navigate college, career mapping (I switched my major several times) and provided ample encouragement throughout. He was approachable, knowledgeable, kind and real. He always had my back and no matter how busy his own life got, always made time to show up. Because of Chandy's mentorship and coaching, I gained the confidence to try several internships throughout my time in undergrad, identify the career path I wanted to pursue, and ultimately land my dream job which at that time was in consulting. Chandy was a North star to me during my time in undergrad and continues to inspire me with his dedication to helping others. Even though I have graduated from USC over a decade ago, his name on my phone is still registered as "Mentor Chan" because that's the type of impact he's had on my life!

My income and options in life have grown because of coaching, but most importantly to me, I have grown so much, as a businessman, as a leader, and as a father. Running several businesses, I encounter many situations where I am often tested emotionally, I get thrown into fear or reactivity. But without fail, every time I finish a call with Calvin, I have total clarity about my direction, necessary action, and decisions moving forward. No fear, just a proactive action mode. It has helped me to remove a lot of the self-doubt or indecisiveness in my life. I have worked with two other coaches before Calvin, and this really is beyond compare. Calvin is so flexible and diverse in his approach, so broad in his listening and questioning skills that he is able to see exactly where I'm stuck. He helps me move forward so gracefully - with a story, an analogy, or the right quality question. He puts me in solution-focused mode, I never feel judged or wrong for being stuck when I'm on my coaching call with him, it's all about finding the right mindset or outcome desired to pull me the right way fearlessly. It's crazy to think about how much I was opposed to being a leader when I first started coaching with Calvin because I didn't truly didn't believe I was a good leader. Over the years, I continued to do my work with Calvin's coaching and now looking back I am amazed at all the different areas of business leadership and relationships in my life that have benefitted. Words can't describe my gratitude and for those who may want to know my income and moreover income stability has benefitted greatly. I won't say that it has benefitted the most because to me there is more value in the loving Father I have become to my kids, the level hearted Husband my wife says that I am and the Inspiring but firm Leader I continue to become as a business leader.
