This surgery saved and changed my life. I had my surgery on a Monday around Noon, and Big Boy from REAL 92.3 watched my surgery, as miVIP wanted to advertise on his show. I was released at 6 am on Tuesday. I was walking around the Santa Ana Zoo on Friday with my granddaughter and back to work the following Monday. I had no issues, no dumping, no nausea, no diarrhea, not a single issue. A few weeks after my surgery, I went on Big Boys show to tape a radio commercial, and then a few weeks after that I was in a commercial shoot for the clinic. He had to undergo numerous nerve block procedures, and additional surgeries to correct his mistake. The entire 10 months this doctor was rude, inconsiderate and Gave my family the run around of "it will get better". But guess what?! It didn't get better!!!!! Finally my dad went to see a doctor at cedar sinai who confirmed what we all knew... Johnsrud did a botched surgery and it needed to be corrected. Once the dr performed her surgery she was astonished at what she found on the inside... The original mesh used to hold the hernia in place was not even intact! It was found balled up in his lower abdominal cavity, causing cuts all over!! The hernia was NEVER repaired, and the damage he had caused was life threatening. Instead of having to navigate the maze of ER visits, PCP referrals, and urgent care waiting rooms, Dr. Chung got me in the same day. There was no one else in the waiting room, and the entire experience felt incredibly personal and unhurried. Dr. Chung explained everything to me in a way that was both humorous and approachable. He used lighthearted terms like "poop juice" and "butt stuff," which made an awkward situation feel completely embarrassment-free. He gave me a conservative treatment option, but I chose the in-office procedure, a quick removal right then and there. I find this difficult to believe because shortly after, they continued asking about what pharmacy I utilize. I have already designated a pharmacy when filling out my new patient packet. Also, the doctor and staff confirmed my pharmacy during my appointment. I've been going back and forth since. It's been 13 days since my initial visit, and I haven't had a resolution. Sadly, my previous physician is no longer accepting my medical insurance. So, I was forced to seek medical care elsewhere. Moreover, prior to my appointment with Dr. Khan, my previous physician attempted to contact Dr. Khan's office to send my medical history and medication history. However, the office failed to return their call. As a medical professional, this is unacceptable. Furthermore, to add to my struggle.
