Chris was awesome in taking care of the short circuit we had in our wall outlet. The house was built in 2011 and the contractors didn't crimp the wires to the outlet with wing nut adapters. There were scorched places on the box and wire wrapping as it was hot to the touch. Could have been a major disaster. Great workmanship and fantastic communication on everything that he was taking care of for us. read more

Our home was built in 1904 with many old plumbing updates. Service was for a leaky hose bib that was not installed properly or to code 4-5 years ago by another service and an old toilet (pull-chain) broken shutoff valve. Michael and Son had an opening a few hours after my call and fixed both items the same day. I've used Michael and Son previously to install an upstairs laundry room (electrical and plumbing) and was please. Mario was great and was very informative about plumbing issues for this old house...will use again for all my plumbing (and electrical needs). read more

We have had great experience with Michael & Son both times they came out. The first time was for a stopped drain (it turns out you can't shove five pounds of potatoes down a garbage disposal). The clog was not easy, however the technician was diligent and ultimately successful. The technician was very friendly and careful to leave the kitchen looking better than he found it. Our most recent call was for a gas leak at our furnace. Once again the service was excellent. I found their customer service to be very friendly and professional. They were able to get the technician out to address our issue quickly. Prices are reasonable. What more can you ask for than friendly, professional service; prompt, proficient service; at a reasonable price. read more

I was assured they were familiar with mini splits, this was not the case. First strike - the technician was supposed to come between 12 and 6, but we got a call at 9pm that he would be there in a few minutes. Second strike - he had no idea about mini splits (this was what I specifically asked about, so why would they send someone with no experience?). Third strike - his solution was one that was going to be super expensive, and with only a hope of figuring out what was wrong, not even an actual repair. And then, of course, I had to pay the $100 service call fee, for nothing. read more

On time and professional. Mark was very talkative and explained what he was doing very clearly.

Had a desire to get furnace serviced and looked over, heard their advertisements on the radio. Call them I did. Tech serviced furnace and did not replace the filter or even tell me there was no filter. He pulled the original screen out (that at least provided some filtration) and tossed it on the ground in my crawlspace. He came out from under the house and told me that there was an issue with the heating element, it had a little backdraft but he could not find a leak. Told me the furnace will need replaced and offered a quote. I told him not to bother with the quote at the moment because I was gonna drive it to the wheels fell off come after all. It might last me another five years. He said it might last me another five seconds... Sure, enough, I didn't need the furnace for a couple days, but when I went to turn it on, it didn't work. And it was really cold out. That was rather strange, but who knows. I called the company back. They sent a different fellow who found the issue, a fuse was blown. He also let me know if there was no filter in there and that the size I needed was the specific size he gave me, so I was able to buy filters to put them in. Whole thing seemed a little funny, no fuse issues before the one tech came in, and then he's really pushing me to replace the furnace that it might only last five seconds not sure enough if there's a blown fuse when he leaves. Other guy comes in, finds it, not had any issues since. I know these guys are paid on commission, so it has me wondering... Anyway, the second guy was fantastic, honest, great dude and just easy to talk with. I called the office to talk to a manager so that I could sing the praises of the second guy, but I also wanted to let them know my thoughts on the first guy that came out. The manager didn't call me back, he told the second guy to call me because there was a problem with with what he did when he came out, which is not at all with what I wanted to talk about. Anyway, the second guy calls me concerned that there was something wrong that I was upset with him or he did something wrong, I told him no not at all, I actually wanted to talk to your supervisor about you and how impressed I was with you, but I also want to talk about the previous guy that isn't in the same league as you are. It's just a weird leadership choice, really lacking in customer service and employee care. I also had an electrician come out and look at something, he gave me a quote to do a bunch of work. I've had it quoted with two other companies and it's less than half the price that he was given me, keep in mind that these guys are paid on commission. read more

(4.5 stars) Our heat stopped working on Thanksgiving evening. After resetting the system and spending a night in a cold house, I searched around with dim hopes of finding a company with Black Friday availability. Thankfully, Michael & Son was able to send someone on short notice. Booking through their website was easy, and they did a good job of communicating when their technician would be arriving. Said technician, Noe Ansaldo, was polite, professional, and fast. He got our heat working in only a few minutes and stuck around to make sure that it stayed on and functioned properly. Admittedly, Michael & Son runs higher than others for a service call (total came out to $95), but on a day with a high in the low 40s, that still proved to be money well spent. I would not hesitate to use Michael & Son again should the need arise. read more

I previously used Michael and son and they did a great job fixing a broken bath/shower pipe and installed all new fixtures however this time they charged me 574 for replacing shower cartridge the shohandle was broken so he had to use a replacement that was a totally different handle he reused the existing sleeve that he cut with a saw and he reused the hold screw that was corroded I expected them to use new fittings disappointed after my previous experience was so professional read more

Today was my first experience with Michael & Sons. They came out to do seasonal check up. And Noe was the individual who came out. He was wonderfully nice and professional. I would always choose him to come out and fix my AC if I could. Great experience! read more

I googled AC companies, they come up and I called. I set it up for an AC Tune Up and to get a quote on a mini split system for my upstairs. We scheduled for 5/22, a Friday. They never showed up. We just received some garbled texts about they would be arriving 12-2 when we had scheduled 10-12. The following week, Monday, 5/25, we start getting texts that the technician is on their way. We never scheduled it, I called their office and said we were unavailable that week but would be available June 5th. We scheduled it for then. Sounds great? On 5.28, we get texts that the technician will be arriving on 5/29. Of course, I call the office AGAIN to let them know that we aren't there, that we had scheduled for June 5th and had texts confirming our date. The amount of time I wasted texting their technicians, calling their offices and dealing with their general ineptitude meant I am going in a new direction. Absolutely frustrating to deal with. They were not worth my time or effort. I'm going with Go Green since they actually seem to have their shit together. read more

Fantastic experience all around. Our home was built with a boiler, so when it went out, we needed the works: HVAC, water heater, and the electrical upgrade to support it. Michael & Son speedily arranged the job, communicating clearly throughout the entire process, with quick responses to any questions I had. Beyond that, they got the work done in a timely fashion in spite of multiple unprecedented snowstorms. While I'm used to working with general contractors for my work of this scale, I have no complaints about Michael & Son handled this. Further, their employees are outstanding--friendly, approachable, and their work is high caliber. I'd especially like to compliment their electrician Dillon Muratovic, with whom I had the most interaction along the way. He is a fantastic electrician with a diligent work ethic and a very warm demeanor. All told, M&S took a nightmare situation--an old house running on 60 amps with a dead boiler--and brought everything up to date with speed and quality. read more

I called Michael and Sons to install a few security cameras. It's an older home so we were not sure how much wiring was needed. Scheduling with the company was very easy. I called since I had a specific date and time needed. They sent text updates including estimated time of arrival. Prophet arrived on time and was very easy to work with. He asked about our project, completed a walk through to verify what went wanted done, and then provided a quote. He worked efficiently and was considerate of the fact I was on a work call. He also cleaned up and gave us anything he replaced so we could throw it away or donate it. I would highly recommend using Micheal and Sons for any of your home needs. read more

Terrible experience! Waited up til midnight for a technician who did not show!!! When I called back to ask what was going on, all I was offered was an apology and new appt. No offer to make up for dropping the ball. I will NEVER use them again!!! read more

I had some electrical work to be done where I wanted a dedicated breaker for my freezer and fridge in the garage. I also wanted a house surge protector to be installed. Dillon came out to provide an estimate. He was courteous and went through each step of the operation during the estimate as well as a few recommendations. Today, he performed the work flawlessly without any interruption or issues. His work is neat and very professional. Each time I met with Dillon, he was respectful, valued my input, and courteous. Work well done and much appreciated. If I have more work to be done, I will specifically ask Michael & Sons to assign the task to Dillon. Thank You! read more

just had my fall checkup on my heat pump and gas furnace. Mark did an excellent job explaining what he was checking to make sure all the systems are working correctly. He also made suggestions for additional service on my unit that might help make my HVAC system more efficient. I would recommend Michael and son as a good company for servicing and HVAC unit. read more

Jace was very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. He replaced two outlets for $500. Very pricey!

11/17/25 - I am very impressed with Michael & Son and my plumber Cody Blum. It feels like an all in 1 company because i can go to them for all electrical, hvac and plumbing needs. I lovef with working with Cody. He was honest and very upfront. I had a serious issue that Cody fixed at an affordable price; and he didn't try to upsell me on anything. Excellent service. Answered questions. Very professional. And showed up early! Service was provided as a courtesy so was no charge.

Manuel always does an amazing job helping with my heat repair issues. He's friendly, smart, and incredibly thorough.

Dillon arrived to our residence at the appointed time. He was empathetic, understanding and knowledgeable as to our need. He was also uniquely humble in that he admitted to his inability to address issues not within his qualification and realm of responsibilities. Very professional.. read more

Poor customer from technician Chris. Spent 5K with this company and still ended up with leaky toilet. Canceled the 3rd appointment and called another plumbing service. The technician actually unplugged my furnace, which caused a service appointment for hvac. He used the outlet although there were multiple outlets in garage. I was on vacation and my 83 year old mom was stuck without the ability to control AC. My hvac guy found it unplugged. I would not recommend this company read more

I called to reschedule the time and of the appointment and they made a mistake and came in a day before than the scheduled date, which interfere with my work schedule . Super pricey, almost $600 for changing only two outlets read more

Mark Flores was at my home this morning to inspect and service the heating/furnace.Mark is a jewel, he arrived on time, he is knowledgeable and provides concise explanations of the service performed. Mark is professional in appearance, attitude, and in the performance of the task at hand; he does not talk about nonsensical things unrelated to the reason he is in my home. Mark does his job and he's out. Many thanks to Mark for being a consummate professional! read more

I called and they were able to come the same day. The technician called to let me know he was on his way and his ETA. Once he looked at the project, he provided detailed information and a quote. Once he started it became clear some additional work was needed, which he again showed me in detail and updated his quote. Dillon did a great job, was very professional and cleaned up after himself. I was pleased with the service and I highly recommend both Dillon and this company. read more

Ethan from Michael &Sons plumbing division did our inspection today and was great. He even told us that although our water heater was still working and he saw no problems with it it was a 2006 unit. So we're now looking into a warranty plan through Duke Energy that's very affordable and could save us quite a large repair or replacement bill. We went over the basics of the plan with Ethan and he said it sounded very good. Thank you Michael & Sons for providing us with skilled and knowledgeable people. Highly recommend their services. read more

The service was 5 star - the price was 2-3 star (wayyyy more expensive than I anticipated, but I was desperate). Brandon was the electrician who replaced the GCFI so my garage door would open and other exterior outlets would function. (I had my house powerwashed and water got into them.) He also replaced 4 exterior patio/porch lights for me. He was super professional, friendly, informative and efficient. I would definitely hire him again. I felt confident in his work and that he was treating me like he would a family member. That said, I expected this job to run a few hundred dollars (maybe I was naive?), but it was much more than that. - Brandon was terrific though!! read more

Quoted $1,160.87 including two hours labor, to replace an outside faucet. Got the job done by another plumber, found on Thumbtack, who replaced it in less than an hour for $215.00. read more

Not too happy at all. Plumber came out and price gouged our landlord. Says the pipe from road to house needs replacing just from looking at it. Then came into house to check on non functioning toilet and let water run all over. Did get it to work but now it runs and runs and runs. I guess that is what you get when he wants to go hang out with friends instead of doing his job with quality. I asked my landlord to get a second opinion because I didn't like his attitude or quality of work. I do not recommend. read more

IF I COULD RATE THEM 0 stars I would! This company was the absolute worst!! They sent the same so called plumber out TWICE and he still couldn't complete the job! What kind of plumber does not access the house for backups before he starts work to resolve any issue. I needed my main drain line unclogged and then a camera to check the drain line.. the first time he came out the he Isai did not have a clue he cleared the drain line and that was it no camera was even offered but I was charged over $700 for a service that he did not compete! I had to call back 4 times to get somebody to schedule to come back out with the camera. Guess what ? They send the same clueless person back out. This time he says"oh our camera is broken"!! So yal only one camera in the entire company or you don't know how to use it?? I've been calling back for weeks no return call they said the owner was supposed to call. Nothing !! The customer service team is clueless they always say I have to route this to another department but can't tell you what department that is .. Its been. Over a month and no return call and our drain pipe is still not fixed! But they got the money so now no one is calling me back about service would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.. and they always ask do you have any electrical or HVAC needs..NO BECAUSE YOU DIDNT RESOLVE MY PLUMBING NEEDS! DONT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY NEEDS read more
