If I could give this place a 10 star I would. I brought 2 of my kids here to get their wisdom teeth…read moreout about 4-5 months ago. They are so clean and sterile. They made sure my kids are so comfortable and safe. As one of them has severe anxiety. They literally hold your hand. The process was very smooth. Recovery was amazing and they even walk you out to the car and call you 2 days later to check and see how you are doing. Now for me, I went to Aspen dental. Was supposed to get a tooth extracted that was very infected. Well I showed up to my appointment with a note on the door saying "internet down, we can't see anyone today" basically. I was so upset, I was waiting 2 weeks to have the tooth out, the pain was INTWN. So intense it was in my ear and down my throat and nose. So I posted on fb, my friend penny that works here called me right away and she had told her boss the doctor about me, and my situation. He got me RIGHT in. No questions asked, they cared about ME and my health. The infection was severe. So severe that there was a huge golf ball sized lump in my throat from the infection I needed this tooth pulled. I suffer from severe anxiety. Bad. They put my mind at ease, held my hand, I didn't remember a thing, I remember the doctor coming in and telling me everything will be ok, putting the IV in and I didn't feel that either. Then I said 10 lol and was out, next thing I knew I was being walked into recovery. My husband was already their. I laid down and relaxed for a bit. Then stayed for about 30-45 min for me to come out of it more, the nurse walked me to the car with my family. Said she would call and check on me Monday (it's only Sunday) the compassion and caring this office has is absolutely amazing. You can't teach that.

Awful office manager. This office bills incorrectly and they over charge. The appropriate phrase is…read morefraudulent billing. I have never been so disrespected by someone who truly feels that their title as office manager with blue hair and incredibly shitty attitude is above all else. You are a glorified assistant. I'm disgusted and truly wonder if this dentist and office has taken advantage of numerous patients. Disgusting. Be professional and at least LOOK professional.

MAH Horrible experience…read more I would like to preface this by stating that I have previously had a very positive opinion of Dr. Cohrs personally. I firmly believe his bedside manner, attention to detail, and dental work are truly impeccable, and I appreciated his clinical care during my previous visits over the years. During my most recent visit though, things had changed. I was told by the hygienist, Lyndi, that a panoramic X-ray was "required by law" to maintain their license, with implied risk if refused. No such Michigan law exists--regulations cover equipment safety only, not mandating patient imaging (per LARA-Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Michigan Dental Association). My low-risk profile (excellent hygiene, no cavities in years, healthy gums, recent normal bitewings) showed no clinical need. ADA 2026 guidelines require panoramic only when necessary, to minimize radiation, not routinely. When I raised the issue feeling misled about Timberview losing their license, the hygienist called in the office manager who was beyond rude, defensive, interrupted repeatedly by obscuring and pivoting to "our standard of care," then asked my opinion of their standard. I said it felt revenue-driven rather than evidence-based. She immediately told me to leave. This was gaslighting: obscuring the obvious falsehood with vague "patient care standards" and punishing honest feedback with abrupt dismissal. Deceptive communication and unprofessional handling erode trust. Patients deserve transparency, not pressure and deflection. Unfortunately the unprofessional conduct of the office manager--particularly her repeated interruptions, twisting of the initial misleading statement, dismissive attitude, and abrupt decision to ask me to leave after I shared my honest opinion--has eroded my trust in the practice as a whole. Despite my high regard for Dr. Cohrs' skills and care, this experience will unfortunately prevent me from returning. Perhaps the business/name change to Timberview Dental has caused the business to now become profit driven over patient care driven. Be VERY careful about agreeing to unnecessary procedures that are lining their pockets.

The procedure went well. The care and compassion they gave to me was incredible knowing how scared I was. I can't say enough about them. Not one referral to someone who could help me, not one well we could do this! All he said was go home and eat differently and use a rinse that I paid 36$ for, that I can get on Amazon. No one understands what I have gone through, but I expected more than he gave me. Unless you have been through the pain I have had, you know nothing. It was obvious that he cares not for older people I don't think of me being old, but, by the time he was done talking and acting like he knew it all, I felt what most older people feel. They blow us off and only want to concentrate on Younger people. I thought he was Pompous and a know -it - all, but, funny, he didn't know anything. Too bad because I was willing to pay anything since my insurance doesn't cover his so called services.
