Put good faith deposit down on a car while I had to obtain requested paperwork for financing. The next day when I called the the owner to tell him I was bringing it in, he informed me that he had sold the car to someone else in the meantime. I understand that these small time dealers are operating on a tight cash flow basis, but that is downright discourteous and unethical.
