My refrigerator started gushing water from the bottom over the weekend so we turned off the water under the sink and began looking for a firm on Yelp to come out to repair it. Based on earlier reviews, I called Sergio on Saturday morning, explained the problem, and he said that he could come out Monday afternoon. On Monday morning he texted me with a more specific time, stating that he would be out around 1:00pm. True to his word, Sergio knocked on my door at 1:10pm. After pulling out the refrigerator from the wall and turning the water back on, Sergio immediately diagnosed the problem as a cracked/broken water valve. He replaced it fairly quickly, cleaned up, and then was on his way. The total cost for both parts and labor came to a very reasonable $175. I was highly satisfied with my interactions with Sergio, both before and during the appointment, and I highly recommend him without reservation. read more

I had a very good experience with Miami Air Cool, Inc. I was convinced that I would need to replace my refrigerator because it was 10 years old. (It was new but came with the house.) I appreciated Sergio, Sr's expertise: he advised me that the refrigerator was a good one and in very good condition. And, in his experience, more reliable than the new ones sold today which often need to be repaired already after 5 years. So I decided to have the repair done. Which happened very quickly. What a relief! read more

So I got home from a 24 hour shift (I'm a firefighter) too 3 kids a broken refrigerator! Lucky for me my wife dumped the kids on me and I had fishing bait melting away in the freezer! So like any real manly man/dad I put on the refrigerator mechanic hat! After 3 hours, a ton of YouTube, and 3 hungry annoying kids yelling I gave up and called Sergio. He showed up in a few hours and fixed the issue in minutes. He gave me a discount, but it was still $220! Will worth it. Long story short fellas, don't attempt to fix it yourself! Just call Sergio and go drink a beer! You also don't want a tech in your house for hours trying to fix your fridge! This guy knows what he is doing! read more

Needed refrigerator/ freezer service on a Saturday. Found Miami Refrigerator Repair on Yelp based on the reviews, and Sergio was able to come out within hours to accommodate my hectic weekend schedule. He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. The issue was quickly diagnosed, and a temporary fix was put in place that allowed me to have a working refrigerator until he could return on Monday with the specific replacement part. Arrived late Friday night for a visit to my Miami Beach Condo only to find the fridge at 80 degrees. I called Miami Refrigerator Repair at 7 the next morning (Keep in mind, it's Saturday) and Sergio said he would be there between 9:30-10. At 9:10 he arrived and probably would have had the repair completed before 10 but the board he brought was faulty and he had to go back to the warehouse to get another. He was still done by noon and I was able to restock the fridge later that afternoon. The response, service, and successful repair were absolutely excellent. Do not consider anyone else to repair your refrigerator in Miami. Thanks Sergio. read more

Poor service poor quality and they tried to tell me my compressor was broken and it would be $800. I went to buy a multimeter to test the compressor myself and it wasn't the compressor. Thankfully I didn't hire them for the job but watch out! read more

Sergio was great - he answered my call and was here within 24 hours to take a look at my troublesome refrigerator. He informed me on the phone that the service call would be $50, which is 1/3 of the price Sears charges. He worked diligently and quickly, explaining things to me along the way. After diagnosing the problem he told me the cost for repairs. With my consent he continued to fix the problem and clean up. The bill was exactly as he told me. I am 100% satisfied and would absolutely call him first if I ever have further refrigerator or AC problems. Thanks Sergio! read more

Spoke with a very nice gentleman on the phone. Took down all of my info and said he would be out the following day to look at my refrigerator. No show/no call. During this quarantine we noticed that our 20+ year old SubZero was not cooling. It was a Thursday evening when we called Sergio and he was at our home the next morning wearing gloves and mask and kept his distance. He quickly figured out the problem. Unfortunately, he needed to order a part that wouldn't arrive till Monday but he gave us good advice on how to keep things cool in the fridge in the meantime. He was back at our home promptly on Tuesday morning and we're grateful to say that we now hav a working fridge again! Sergio is a class act and we were lucky to have him help us out. read more

Sergio, the owner runs the most honest and knowledgable business. My 30 yr. old Subzero's Freezer stopped working 2nd week into Corona Virus shut down. I had called another company that has been servicing my Refrigerator for over 8 years. Two days ago, they charged me more than 3x the amount just for the initial service call then came up with a $3,000. diagnosis to repair the freezer compressor. In a major panic not knowing to repair or replace my husband called Sergio for a second opinion and he came within a day. Sergio charged a super reasonable service fee told us our compressor was fine, and that it needed gas infused because we had a very tiny air leak. He said to make sure the freezer stayed cold for 24 hrs and if it was, then we would need nothing more but if he had to replace the compressor his charge would be $1500.00 total. The other company told us about the gas but that it was a rare gas and they couldn't get it. That company was supposed to specialize in Subzero but I know they were recently bought by a major company and clearly no longer operate with integrity. This was the most stressful situation being faced with spending an exorbitant amount especially during the Corona shut down. Honesty and Integrity really matter, good old fashioned family owned businesses are the way to go. Miami Refrigerator Repair, Sergio has won my business. Thank you for coming immediately and with honesty. Much gratitude! read more

Called at 7:30 am about my broken down fridge and freezer. Sergio came at 7 pm the same day when we got off work. He fixed the problem in less than 2 hours and our fridge is working great. I have to say, I don't normally give good reviews unless it is merited. Sergio was amazing, he took my call on a Sunday, he said he was off to spend time with his family but would come over on Monday. He came as promised, and fixed my refrigerator for an extremely fair price and right before thanksgiving!! He made my wife and daughters feel safe while in my home with out me! Not only do I recommend him, if you go with anyone other than Sergio you are rolling the dice!! This is a sure bet!! And a winning one at that!! A+++++ service and friendly to boot!!! read more

I called this company as someone had been raving about Sergio the week before; how he came out quickly and was a gentleman and got the job done right. As luck would have it I woke up to a refrigerator/freezer that would not stay cold and remembered hearing about Sergio. He said he would be here in an hour and he was. My problems were solved and he took the time to answer all my questions as to how to avoid problems in the future. There are so few really good companies to call that really care about the work they do and about their reputation. Luckily I hit on one of the good ones... And on a Sunday, no less. You have nothing to worry about if you call this gentleman. I don't do reviews often, but felt his professionalism deserved it. read more

Sergio was great! My freezer stopped working over weekend my ridiculous building WOULD NOT let anyone up over weekend as per regulations to fix It I had over 300$ in organic grass fed meats and veggies that would spoil over weekend if I didn't get immediate service. Sergio came as he promised on time. My 2015 GE Refrigerator started to work again. He saved me to buy a new refrigerator.

Our fridge broke down on the Saturday before Xmas. We were having a huge Xmas eve party at our house and couldn't find anyone that would come to our house on a Saturday. Luckily, I came across Miami Refrigerator Repair. I spoke to Sergio who said he could be in my house in about 1 hour. We were skeptical since no one else seems to work on Saturdays. He did in fact show up, and he fix our fridge in about 30 minutes. We couldn't believe it! Apparently a part had broken and he had the replacement part in his truck. We were ecstatic. He wasn't cheap but he fixed it and he came out on a Saturday, so we were thrilled. Very nice guy, professional. Highly recommend. read more

The appointment and to fix my refrigerator the same day in a couple of hours. Sergio (the Technician) was going to be like 10 min late and he called to let me know that and to fix to refrigerator he knew what he was doing, it took less that 2 hours. Full responsible and fair price. I highly recommend this company read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME! If an old Cuban technician named Omar wants to work on your refrigerator, don't let him near it. He will pour hot water on the ice to make you believe he solved the problem and a week later you will have the same problem. When you call him back, he'll blame it on the part, do the exact same thing, and you'll wake up a week later with a broken fridge. We called the owner who promised to give us a refund ($400) if we let a technician take the parts back. Sure, no problem. Omar calls us back and as we tell him what the owner said, he said we'd never get our money back and when I told him we bought a new refrigerator, he hung up the phone. He got in a cursing match with my husband. Miami scumbags at their finest. Do not use this company! They may go under the name "Miami Air Cool, Inc," as well. read more

I had a problem with my refrigerator in my condo in brickell so i gave these guys a call based on the positive reviews here. I spoke to a guy named Sergio, who took my information and said he would get back to me the following day to set up a time to come by. He never got back to me. Against my better judgment i called back a week later and again spoke to Sergio and the same thing happened, said he would get back to me and never did. Guy seemed nice on the phone, but c'mon man...not very professional read more

You must call Sergio. Why? Because he answers the phone. Because he stays in touch when he's on the way. He responds to texts. It's so much easier to find someone to SELL you something than it is to find someone who uses the their head to FIX something. Why is that? So many reasons. Anyway if you can find a polite responsive service provider why go anywhere else. Call Sergio !!! read more
