We showed up at 9:10 AM, exactly as instructed, only to be told our booking had been moved to 11:30 AM without any notice whatsoever. No email. No call. Nothing. Just "oh yeah, it was changed." From there, it was 30 minutes of standing around, being sent back and forth between employees who clearly had no idea what was going on. Eventually, we were told we'd receive a refund and a free boat tour as compensation for the inconvenience. Sounds reasonable, right? Except when they went to process it, they tried to charge the boat tour tickets against the refund credit -- essentially undoing the compensation they just promised. If we hadn't been paying attention, we would have been charged anyway. Luckily, we caught it, demanded clarity, and only then did they issue a full refund and actually give us the boat tour tickets for free like they said they would in the first place. The boat tour itself (celebrity homes) was fine -- nothing special -- but that's not the point. We're locals who intentionally tried to spend the day as tourists, and this experience made it painfully clear how miserable this must be for out-of-towners who don't know better. Disorganized, misleading, and careless with customers' time and money. Miami deserves better than operations like this -- and tourists definitely do.

The best Birria tacos I have ever eaten is how we started. Then we walked about Maryam was so thorough is her descriptions of the art and artists in the neighborhood! Next food stop was samosas, delicious and the restaurant was beautiful!! More art then we had a tropical sandwich that was to die for-mozzarella, tomato, basil, mango and pineapple-such a unique and delicious sandwich. The vinaigrette that was in the sandwich I bought a bottle to bring home More art and food stop #4 Joe's Pizza-new York style foldable and everything. More murals and then a cookie from Night Owl. We loved hearing the stories about the commissioned artists, some of their trademarks to notice as we walked around, and the different mediums they use to 'paint' their murals. All in all we met great people, ate fantastic food, and saw some beautiful, meaningful art. We ended at the Wynwood museum, we could explore there as long as we wished. Highly recommend!!!

I was told a marathon was impacting traffic, but as a traveler who planned ahead and arrived on time, this is something the company should have anticipated and communicated more clearly. I also spent about $80 in Uber fees just getting to the meeting location, which added to the frustration. To their credit, the guide later connected me with the first food stop and arranged for tacos and issued a full refund, which I appreciated. However, the bigger disappointment was the lost opportunity--I could have booked a drag show or another tour during that time instead of waiting. Customer service tried to make things right after the fact, but better planning, proactive communication, and respect for guests' time would have made a big difference.

I had the pleasure to join captain Kim and two other guests for a trip around Miami including Stiltsville. I did a very touristic sunset cruise in a bigger boat, nothing to what captain Kim offered us. She is very knowledgeable and knows answers to all questions. For those who want to see the invader placed at one of the Stiltsville houses - this is the best address for such a trip. Thank you!

Captain Kim shared details about the homes we passed and some fun historical facts. Once we arrived at the island, we had to look around a bit for the raccoons, but we had been prepped by our captain on what to expect and the best ways to attract the raccoons. Within a few minutes, curious raccoons wandered over to greet us -- they were friendly, adorable, and clearly used to visitors. We brought snacks (they loved Lays chips!) and even shared water from our bottles - some of them drank straight from it like little beach bandits! It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime, up-close encounter with nature, and we couldn't stop laughing and snapping photos. OceanForce Adventures are real pros. We knew exactly what to expect on our excursion thanks to the incredible level of detail on their website. Many thanks to Captain Kim for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Danny knew so many people on the street who stopped to speak to him. Sure, most of those people had something to sell and they hoped we would be their customers- but it was a joy to be exposed to it all- a person with parrots for photographs, a man selling peanuts for a dollar, and all the people in all the shops we stopped in . We ate cuban sandwich (amazing!) , guava pastries, empanadas, and churros- it was basically two meals!. Danny also told lots of stories and we learned about the hobby of dominos with a Cuban twist, and the history of the Bay of Pigs. This was not a serious history tour, but it was super fun and I highly recommend it. He pointed out a jazz club on the tour, Ball & Chain- we stopped there for a cuban mojito after the tour and listened to the band. It was a wonderful afternoon.

The best part of the trip was how we had the boat exclusively to ourselves! I didn't know it'd be a private tour until the day I came. So, the boat was just a total of 3 people (captain included). The water temperature was great and the clarity was decent. We even saw two dolphins! You meetup at Whiskey Joe's at the marina and you can start your excursion immediately. I liked that you didn't need to wait around much. I was able to see some cool looking fish, a bottom feeder and a crab. You get 2 hours for the snorkeling and you're not required to wear any life vests (in fact, we weren't offered any and I didn't see any). The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.
