He even translated the material in Spanish for the Spanish-speaking students. As for the school itself, the Director lady was very rude to two of my classmates when they went to pay for the course. They also don't help with job placement, they just tell you to apply on the company's website. Also the bathrooms are ALWAYS disgusting, no toilet paper, pee on the toilet and no soap. One time there was feces clogged in the toilet and no one bothered to fix it. Other than this, the course went well all thanks to our professor which is the only reason why I would recommend this school.

The director, Donard, claims to be a serious person, but in reality, he does not keep his word. When it comes to taking your money, they are very kind and attentive. However, when it's time to respond and issue a refund, they simply disappear. They have blocked me from their pages and phone lines to avoid dealing with my calls and requests for my own money. It is frustrating and exhausting to have to chase after what rightfully belongs to me. I am completely fed up with this situation. Do not trust this school--they are not serious. Protect your money.

Back in 2016, when Mattia College of Miami closed its doors to the school unexpectedly, it caused many of its students to be left without any information about nursing studies or where to go thereafter. After doing research on schools in the area, I went to the Universal Career School looking for a way to continue and finish my nursing program. The Universal Career School opened the door for me and many of my clasmates. We were able to obtain the correct information and were given the best communication from the administration staff. The faculty did a great job by preparing us well for the classes and they provided excellent support. I graduated last year and I have shared my archives with my classmates, instructors, and the administrators. I also participated in the first graduating ceremony with my RN license already in my hands. I was able to pass the NCLEX on my first try as the Universal Career School had prepared me well. Today I am working as RN in a large hospital system. I am forever greatful to the Universal Career School for all the help they provided me towards my end goal of having a career in Nursing.

Horrible experience…read more Apparently they are not capable of holding a reservation. This is my story. I scheduled my test for Friday at 11am (took a day from for work). I studied for my test for a few months and finally the day of my test has arrived. I arrived 1 hour earlier to make sure I was calm and ready for my test. Now it's past 11 and I'm looking at 3 people ahead of me that continue waiting. Apparently they over booked their computers and now us (test takers) have to keep waiting until a computer opens up. The reservation becomes useless and here we are hopelessly waiting for a computer to open up to take our tests. Most of people taking exams here are for their careers; therefore, this process is already stressful. Adding this extra stress is useless and harmful for anyone taking a test. In conclusion: What is the point of making a reservation if you cannot hold the reservation? It is extremely rude, disrespectful, and unconsidered. PS. Front desk person was not helpful all I got was "I don't have a computer for you and I cant tell you I am going to have a computer available.

I went to the miami campus in1997-1998 for the Phlebotomist Technician, and there program is better…read morethen some of these phlebotomy program that are out here now and I am still in the field after 20 years, the way I see some of the phlebotomist they turn out now is ashame none of them know how to stick at all they bruise patients so bad, they do not teach the phlebotomist here how to stick kids or obtain blood from babies for pku's or micro's, it takes at least one year to master the skill to draw blood, this is not an over nite thing it's a skill and it takes at least your first year to master that skill, I know because I been there and done that.

You can tell that all the barbers truly enjoy what they're doing and pay attention to detail. I wanted to take my son for his first barbershop haircut before his 4th birthday. The barbershop is located next to my sons daycare and the guys always say "hi" to my son and fist bump him as he walks by. On any given day you'll see guys inside the shop doing karaoke or cracking jokes which makes me want to walk inside for a haircut everyday! I had tried taking him to a real barbershop one other time before and had to leave because he was just not having it. During my visit here, though, my son was completely comfortable and even laughing and smiling. During my visit I was offered cuban coffee, talked with the employees and clients and my son was treated like a superstar. Aldo did a fantastic job cutting my son's hair. At no point did my son feel uncomfortable getting his haircut. Aldo did EXACTLY the haircut I wanted for my son and took his time fading and lining my son's hair. At the end of the haircut he brought out two small toys for my son on the house. My son was thrilled! Not only was he as happy as could be but he looked GREAT! I left so satisfied with my visit that I will never take my son anywhere else.

There are frequently a bunch of random guys who come in to talk without getting haircuts.
