I called to inquire about my automatic bill pay as they were still charging me after the bill was paid in full. I called the billing number who directed me to the office line, as they said they were not able to help with automatic bill payment cancellations. The office line has a voicemail set up saying that the office has closed due to unforeseen circumstances and gave a different number to call. I proceeded to call the new number and was told by the woman who answered that they are not associated with Surgical Group of Arizona and said she is directing all of their patients to a separate number, as this doctor can help with billing issues. I've called this doctor a handful of times, however no one answers or returns voicemails. It's been over 3 weeks and the money is still being removed from my account. It feels like I'm throwing my money into the void because the billing office can't locate any of my automatic bill payments after 10/6, so I have no idea who is receiving this money. I ended up having to cancel my debit card, as that was the only way the bank said I could prevent future withdrawals from them. I completely understand having to close your office unexpectedly, but at least make sure patients are able to get in contact with a legitimate person who can assist them to resolve outstanding issues. I had such a positive experience when I was dealing with my health issues, so I hate leaving a bad review, but this has become extremely frustrating.
