I should have checked the items I brought back (I only sold to them this time, but they didn't buy everything so I brought items back into my house). I called and let them know that I ended up with this situation and just asked them to let customers be aware of it (at minimum) or that they might want to at least check the store and the refused to do either thing. They'd rather hide it and have other end up paying a ton of money by needing an exterminator and having to throw things away than admit that they need to take care of this issue. We will never be going back for this reason. I'd be so frustrated if a company knew they had an issue like that and refused to do anything or let others know to at least check what they buy. So disappointed!

I've always been treated well and nearly every time I find my kids clothing needs, not to mention good brands and price. What's great is that my kids (7 &5) even enjoy coming to this store with me! It's motivation for them to sell an old toy and pick out a cool book, stuffed animal or neat shirt instead.

A true variety store they have a little bit of everything from pet supplies and hardware to spices and bolts of fabric all priced reasonably. The floors creak in just the right places and you can still buy candy by the piece. We always visit when we're in town but Christmas time is just magical. Decorations and the hustle and bustle of the season just can't help igniting a festive feeling. The employees are kind and engaging. Finally no visit is complete without bringing home a pound (or more) of the chocolate covered peanut brittle. They just don't make shops like these anymore, what a treasure!

He pointed me in the direction, but did not walk me over to where female goggles are. I asked him across the store if all goggles on the shelf he directed me to, were women's and not girls. He assured me they were ALL women's, and so I grabbed a grey pair & made my purchase. Got them home & realized the were in fact female youth 12 & under, the exact same pair she was in possession of. I like to support local businesses & that's why I shop there, but at this point I placed an order for a pair of women's goggle from amazon. Went back to the store later in the day to return & the return literally took over 20 minutes as the individual was having trouble processing it. Have had totally different experiences shopping in this store with & without my boyfriend with me. Will not be shopping here in the future.

The owner came across as though my presence was an inconvenience rather than treating me like a customer. When I was looking for a costume, I was told I wasn't skinny enough for anything they had, which was hurtful and unprofessional. I also felt like she assumed I couldn't afford anything in the store based on how she spoke to me and didn't let me look by myself. Instead of offering help or alternatives, the interaction made me feel judged and unwelcome. Customer service should make people feel comfortable regardless of their body type or budget.
