Food was fresh and tasted just amazing. Everyone in our group were happy with their choice. The amount is not much but just enough to satisfy your hunger. Although hungry teenager in our group needed another serving as he was extra hungry. There was a slight misunderstanding due to language barriers, but other than that the service was very prompt and quick. We barely had to wait for 10 minutes after the order. I went by myself on a week day. It had some customers, but not busy. The staff was friendly. Their menu was huge so lots of options. Fair warning, the menu doesn't reflect what arrives. That's pretty common at Mexican restaurants though I'm not sure why. Menu said veggie chimichanga with refried beans, rice, and a side of salad. What arrived was a veggie chimichanga topped with cheese, refried beans topped with cheese, rice, sour cream, lettuce, and guacamole. I had the pick two combo plate. I chose a tamale and a chili Relleno. It came with a nice side of rice and beans. I liked the Spanish rice as it had a little bit of chunks of potatoes in it that was unique. Very colorful establishment. Pleasant service. read more

Met a friend here for lunch. I think I've been here before, or at least to whatever Mexican place was in this location. And I've been to the Gahanna Mi Tradicion. Sadly, this did not rise above that experience. As there, great service. A huge menu, with all the standards, and nothing particularly interesting or different. And blah food. Chips that were okay. Salsa that was bland. I got the lunch Mi Tradicion burrito, a basic one with ground beef, salad veggies, rice, beans. No flavor. I added some of the hot sauce on the table (very limited options) and it was fine, but not quite good. Small portion, but then I did order the lunch one. Disappointing. We have so many excellent Mexican places in town, many authentic, and even the chain Tex-Mex ones are better than this. Might as well go to Taco Bell. Four stars for service, two for food. I hate that I didn't find out about this place until few weeks ago. It came up as recommendation on Yelp with great reviews and decided to give a try. I have been visiting every weekend for last few weeks now. The host greeted us very courteously and gave a window booth. They bring out fresh chips and salsa as soon as you sit. They have fantastic margaritas at great price (18 oz) for about $9.99, which is a steal in this day of inflation. The Diablo sauce is just amazing. They have great burrito and chimichangas as well. Service is fast and reliable. Ambiance is like a quaint-essential Mexican Taqueria with paintings all over. Highly recommended. read more

Went here today with family. Service was great, very quick and got everything right. The food came out hot and tasted great! I got the Tex mex salad and the chicken was so delicious! Big portions so I have a salad for lunch tomorrow now. The margaritas were tasty, and everyone else's food looked great too. Tons of chips and your own salsa as well. Ambiance was casual and the decor is very bright and vibrant. Was too hot to sit outside today but would love to come back and sit out there. I will definitely be back. The food was great! I don't know if it was the best I'd ever had, but I'd definitely go back. Salsa was good & flavorful, the chips were warm & tasty, too. She had a pick-3 option w/both grilled & shredded chicken. She said everything was VERY good! I had the Super Burrito Grilled w/steak. Big burrito filled w/steak, blk beans & Mexican rice. Taco guy here. This place rocks! White corn tortilla. The steak or Carne Asada tacos were perfect. Had them cantina style. (Cilantro and Onions) their hot sauce or salsa served with tacos was hot. This place NEVER has a wait and I can't see why!! The food is wonderful, prices are incredibly reasonable, and staff is always friendly! Even at peak times like six pm on a Saturday, there is no wait for a table. My favorite dish is the arroz con pollo. It's a rice dish with grilled chicken that is all covered in queso-delightful! Their chips are also always warm and they are happy to accommodate my weird request of salt since I'm a big salty chip person. Even at the busiest I have seen it, the atmosphere is calm and it's easy to hold conversation and not speak loudly. This makes it great for a date! Staff, even thought they are helpful, don't linger around, hover or seem in a rush to get you out the door which also creates a positive environment! LOVE going here!!! read more

My friend and I go here quite often but not anymore. We will give our money to another Mexican Resaturant. Also, we both work for a Big Business and will be telling everyone not to patron this establishment. Yesterday, 12/30/24, my friend left a Christmas Card on the table with $25 cash in it. She went back to get it within seconds and they had already cleared the table. She asked who cleared the table and they did not even want to talk to her or look her in the face. And they acted like they didn't understand English. So, disappointing. If they would do this to a customer what else would they do. Would not recommend going to this Mexican restaurant.
