Went to the one in downtown Hilliard even though we live by Bridge Park. Wanted a lower key atmosphere. What we got was low key but cool. We were greeted warmly and seated in the middle of the place. Great people watching spot! My wife got a margarita and I opted for the Mustache Ride. Winner. Just should have gotten the larger one since it was so tasty. I've never had a bad experience the Dublin (Bridge Park) Local Cantina! My food is always hot, tasty, and exactly what I expect. If there's ever an error they have been very quick to correct it (such as receiving the wrong dip, they brought out the correct one within a few minutes). Taco Tuesday can get very busy but during lunch or other evenings I've either experienced no wait or less than 10 minutes. I like that I can get up and get more chips/salsa whenever I'd like. Their outdoor patio is great in nice weather and there's plenty of parking in the attached parking garage. Some of my favorite menu items are the Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito (it has some kick to it!), their queso dip, and many of their tacos. The WFT (weekly taco feature) is usually worth trying for something new, be sure to ask. read more

We came here on a Tuesday and they have a taco Tuesday deal!! It was packed and we waited about an hour for a table. There's parking around the corner in the garage, so you're very close. The inside is nice and the crowd is lively. They have really funky and cool decorations, it was fun. We got seated by the windows, which open fully to the outside, it was nice to feel the breeze. The chips and salsa are self serve and abundant, you can refill unlimited times basically! Their chips are delicious, salty and fresh and their salsa was fresh and made well. I wanted to try their queso, but didn't get it this time. We came for the $2 taco deal ($3 for super special tacos). I got the Carne Asada (7/10), Hong Kong Phooey (8/10), Baja Shrimp (7/10), Tempura Shrimp (8.5/10). The tacos were pretty good and I recommend trying a lot on their deal days because they're pretty cheap and filling. My friends and I really enjoyed the Tempura Shrimp the most but would also recommend trying others. I will definitely come back for more! Although service was very slow, staff was super nice and attentive. We really enjoyed the staff, just wished it was a bit quicker. Since trying the one in Hilliard, I wanted to try the Dublin location and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! One of my favorite dishes is the Buffalo Mac Quesadilla. I've seen the name all around Columbus, and we decided to stop by on a Saturday afternoon and give it a try. We sat out on the patio, the restaurant was almost empty. We had a couple of different servers, we didn't see any of them a second time. The "serve yourself" chips station was nice, especially since the food did take a while. Overall, not my favorite Mexican restaurant. I definitely got the feeling that this is a chain. The food was extremely spicy, and we ordered a combination of salads, tacos and burritos. Food was also served on extremely small plates, it was easy to spill and explained why our table was so sticky. I honestly can't remember what I ordered, nor was it much to look at (I didn't take a picture). It's a shame, the restaurant itself is so fun, the decor is bright and colorful and the bar looks like it'd be a great place to grab drinks with friends after work. Skip the food though. read more

I ordered takeout online on a late Thursday after 9pm, seemed like Local Cantina was the only place open in Bridge Park at that time (I think they're open until 2:30am everyday?!?). The Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito was sooo good. The bacon seemed to be smoked somehow and the blend of food in the burrito was unreal. It also came with free chips and salsa, which is a very very nice touch that other competitors like Chipotle don't do. The order was ready to go right when it said it would be online, and the bartender was pretty quick to get the order from the back, so no complaints with service. It looked like a great place on the inside, lots of room and different seating options (booths, bar, long tables, outdoor seating) so I bet you won't have much trouble finding a spot to sit down and enjoying the vibes. I called today at 12:37 to be exact. I'm still in the parking lot. It's 11:18 at the time I called to let them know I was leaving because my order wasn't ready which was only supposed to take 15 minutes and because I said I called at 12:30 instead of apologizing for the inconvenience she told me it wasn't 1230. It was 1237. It's still almost an hour. I really wanted to try the food. The lady wasn't rude, but I was very offended because that still doesn't make any sense. Then I stood there. The lady told me to stand at the register where you do pick up to go orders . Not once did she say oh it's not ready to sit down so I stood there for 10 minutes until I finally caught on she was gonna just leave me standing there I really wanted to try the food. I can't see myself spending money at a business like this. It was beautiful inside food was probably great too just bad for service . I'm really upset. When your husband asks you to lunch and it's a beautiful day, you can do one of three things (I'm sure there's more): 1.Stay at your cubicle, work by a heater, and eat the bagged salad you brought for lunch 2. Go work out 3. Tell him to pick you up stat and try a new place for lunch I opted for option number three. I checked YELP to find a new place we haven't been before and the Ram Restaurant and Brewery. The Yelp reviews weren't great, but I like to give every place a fair shake, and I saw on their Yelp profile that there was a free entrée offer available, so I clicked on the link, filled out my information, and was sent a BOGO entrée coupon. Can we say score? On a side note, maybe my nickname should be coupon Carla (no it shouldn't). The Ram is located in the new Bridge Park district of Dublin. Bridge Park boasts modern amenities, walkable neighborhoods, restaurants, bars, etc. They have parking garages and on street parking, and the handful of times I've visited Bridge Park, I haven't had any problems parking. This time included. We walked up to the door and saw a U-Haul outside of the Ram. My husband said "That's strange that they're having their food delivered in a U-Haul". I walked up to the glass door and saw a note on the door that said they were closed, so we walked around to see if there were any other places we could grab a quick bite. Up one block we saw a ramen place and Local Cantina. I let Alejandro decide where we would go to lunch. He opted for Local Cantina. While I've been to their location in Westerville, I hadn't visited the one in Dublin. I went in with an open mind, perhaps this location's experience will be different. Since they weren't super busy, there was a sign that said seat yourself. We picked a high top table by the bar. The ambiance is cantina meets bar. Lights hung around the interior of the bar, along with pictures of what I would assume are regulars who frequent the restaurant. There was a cute little patio outside, which was pretty packed. The garage doors were open, which brought in a nice breeze. Chips and salsa are self-serve. I grabbed some chips and salsa and headed back to the table. A server came up and took our drink order. I got club soda and Alejandro got water. We also opted to order a side of queso to start. I was hesitant to order the queso because I was afraid it would be too spicy, but opted to because we were both starving. A few minutes later, both drinks and the queso came out. Because I'm not a fan of really spicy things, I asked Alejandro to try it and he said on a scale of one to ten in spiciness, it's a four. Surely I could handle a four, right? Si. It was rich, bubbly, warm, velvety, cheesy goodness. Everything queso should be. I would almost consider bathing in it if I could, but this is a public place, and I can't. I also managed to get queso on my pants, because I missed my mouth. The server came back, took our lunch order. I ordered two tacos, the Hong Kong Phooey Taco with no sriracha (flour tortilla, shredded teriyaki chicken taco, charred pineapple salsa, avocado, and sesame seeds) and the Americano Taco (corn tortilla, ground beef, shredded cheese, lettuce, pico, sour cream). My husband got one Hong Kong Phooey Taco no sriracha and two Americano Tacos. Less than ten minutes later our meals came out. I dug into the Hong Kong Phooey. In each bite I got the sweet teriyaki sauce, creamy avocado, moist pulled chicken, and sweet pineapple salsa. It was delicious and each bite was better than the next. My husband agreed, he really liked the Hong Kong Phooey. Next it was on to a more traditional taco. The Americano Taco's beef was flavorful. Spices were spot on, and you could taste the notes of cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder. I don't normally have my beef tacos on corn tortillas, but it tasted great. My husband on the other hand made a face because he's not a fan of corn tortillas and forgot to ask them for a flour tortilla instead. Did that prohibit him from eating all the tacos? Nope. I did ask our server if he knew when The Ram closed. He said their last day was Friday night. He said he heard some rumors, but thinks someone local bought the restaurant and will be moving in there. Pros: -Servers are cheery, knowledgeable, and efficient -Queso was on point -Hong Kong Phooey taco was flavorful -Tuesdays are taco Tuesdays, so each of our tacos were $2 (SCORE). Every time I've wanted to go here during the weekend, there's always been a long wait time. Not today! We got our seats right away! It was the perfect weather for the garage door to be open, allowing the breeze to pass through. The inside looks like a bar decorated with Polaroids, cool objects, and overall just feels genuine. I liked it. We had to get the guac to go alongside our chips and salsa first. Man, that sh*t was goooood! I ordered the grilled chicken, grilled fish, and Baja shrimp (no queso) tacos. All three were excellent. The shrimp taco was my favorite probably because of the cilantro combined with the Baja sauce. Delicious! Plenty of flavor and not a single taco was dry. In terms of satiety, I could have ordered a fourth one and been an 8/10 on the fullness scale. But I'm very pleased with the quality of food I received for the price I paid. Big bar in the middle surrounded by rustic wooden tables. Walls are also garage doors so the open feeling is really great. It's on the corner of Bridge street so lots of good activity and passerby's to see and recognize!! We started off with some excellent free nachos and salsa along with some beers (not free). Nachos had just the right crunch and salt. The salsa was just right...not too spicy and not too mild. We ordered the quesadilla and it was done perfectly served with guacamole and sour cream. Then we jumped into a variety of tacos. I recommend the Americano, crunch weezy and grilled Avocado (not on the menu). All were really good!! The carne asada was ok..... a little dry and not so tasty.......but I'd stay away from the recommended Hong Kong Phooey and Tinga Chicken tacos. Those are not palatable. The Fajita Burrito was ok ..... filling but not overly flavorful. What surprised me was we didn't get any utensils or napkins until we asked. Nor did we get any small plates for the nachos. Nor any water. Upon ordering the tacos I asked for a second beer that didn't come. It seemed all the attention was at the bar, not the tables. Good little taco joint in the Bridge Park area. I wouldn't say its a favorite, but its convenient and has a lively patio and game watching setup. Enjoyed pitcher of Margaritas _ mostly ice and not alot of flavor, but hit the spot. I would suggest keeping to single glass margaritas and the Pick 3 Tacos. Pick your favorites - as they are good and we did enjoy ours. Also try the Fajita Burrito Bowl. Service here is more casual and self service approach - vs high touch. I want to start off this review by saying I had an awesome server, and the food tasted great. But the reason for the two stars is some thing that rub me the wrong way, and I didn't think was appropriate. I am vegetarian and I was getting food there the other day, with someone who is not vegetarian when the food was brought. Which was fine to ensure that the right order was given to each person. But before I could even answer, he pointed at me and said you right.... and that made me feel very uncomfortable for him to make that assumption and it he was clearly basing it off of how I looked.
