As far as the location goes, I must say they have very limited parking spots(but we found a spot). Parking spots were tight. However, there is ample parking at the big box store across the street, and they are on a bus line. They are not near other restaurants but stand out based on the loud Mexican music and big sign that has a Mexican flag Over all the service was friendly, attentive, and quick(especially considering how packed it was) They give nachos on arrival, sort of like how restaurants normally give bread, which were okay , but the salsa was bland. The lime margarita was amazing. I got the beef enchiladas, which were tender and loaded with food didn't quite pack the punch I was hoping for. My mom and my wife got the nachos with chicken;they didn't like it. So I tried it to confirm the following: the nacho platter with chicken was bland, with very little crunch. It looked like it was sitting around for a while as far as value goes, my wife's beer was more expensive than my margarita, which is a plus if you are an alcohol drinker like me but not for a beer drinker, obviously. The portions on my plate were small, but there were so many different items on the plate that blended together fairly well that the small portions didn't matter too much. And lastly, the smell of the place was nonexistent, which is odd IMO for a small restaurant.

This place is special because it is authentic food and service from top to bottom. It's small but…read morehas many seats and can accommodate larger parties- just call ahead if you want a reservation..but small walk-ins should be no issue. The service staff is amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. 4/5 for atmosphere because it was cold in the restaurant, probably because it is January and this restaurant is in an old building. The food comes out super quick - even my steak came out very fast. Chips and salsa were complimentary and very tasty. We had 3 kids meal, enchiladas with mole, and steak. All the food was amazing and good portion size. If you feel like Mexican food - skip the chain Tex-mex and come to Mexico Lindon.

This is easily the better Mexican spot on the street. Stopped by for lunch and got:…read more- Guacamole: Really fresh, smooth yet chunky, heaping size. The fried chips were nicely crunchy, which is a perfect pairing. My favourote dish of the meal. - Burrito Bowl: Got this with suadero, which was tender yet chewy. The overall bowl also had a freshness to it to pair with the salty beef, as it had a good amount of veggies, rice and beans. - Fajitas: Got this with shrimp and cheese. The shrimp was tasty though a bit rubbery, loved the generous amount of cheese. Overall dish was a tad too salty for my taste. Place has a lively vibe. Prices are what prices are these days. Service is super attentive, and kitchen is quick. Overall, a good spot if you're in the mood for some Mexican cuisine.

The portion size was just right, definitely enough to share! Also, I tried the Rosamaria Mezcal and now I'm obsessed. Seriously, every bar in town needs to have this drink!!! Will definitely be coming again, great service by our waiter, very attentive and answered all of our question, and not to mention the atmosphere, the glow in the dark lights allow for a good ig story. Don't sleep on the eastend so many great places like this gem

I remember one day driving by Cielito Lindo and seeing it boarded up. I though it was sad because…read moretheir food was amazing and we had enjoyed coming here. Well, little did I know, there had been a fire which had caused the closure of businesses in the strip mall. I'm not in this area often but we happen to drive by it and I saw their sign was there again! My first thought was CHICKEN MOLE!!!! We immediately pulled in and ordered dinner! Our 'old faithfuls' were still in the menu... tabasco combo and chicken mole! We order a takeaway but they are open for dine-in. This restaurant NEVER lets us down. The food is OUTSTANDING and the quality has never wavered. I'm so glad they've weathered all the storms they have faced and are still going strong.

This place is close to where I live, so I wanted to check it out. They always seem super busy. I…read moreordered the Mole Poblano and had horchata. I had some issues with this place. First of all, there are too many table and chairs in the restaurant area. So much so that if someone has their chair pulled out a little bit, it's really difficult to sit comfortably. Secondly, it is very obvious when they are busy the server (singular) becomes overwhelmed very quickly. We didn't receive chips and salsa as is normal for a restaurant like this. Also my drink never came because the person said he was off his rhythm. I don't think it's a rhythm, I think you have too many tables for a restaurant of that size, even without taking into account take out orders or delivery apps. The food I had was very good though. I loved the mole sauce, it was not too choclatey, and not too spicy. It was very well balanced. My partner had the Pollo poblano though, and there was not a poblano to be seen. I was initially confused why they had Pollo Con Mole and Pollo Poblano but no Mole Poblano. I think it's because there's no poblano used. At the same time it is the best Mexican food restaurant in Pickering.
