Living on an acre bordering wetlands in Northern Michigan is great, right up until the critters discover you. The scratching and running we started to hear in our walls and attic sounded like a squirrel dance party! We called Central Michigan Wildlife Services based on a recommendation we received from a different service that was booked through the end of the year, and I am very happy we did! Mark was out to our home in less than a week. He did a very thorough inspection of our home and surrounding area. He pointed out shortcuts that the builder took that provided a "highway" for small critters like mice and squirrels to run right up the channels at the corners of our house and into our attic. He also found that some smart little critters had punched out the screening on our ridge vents making them accessible. They built and installed custom ridge vent protectors, and helped install channel caps on the corners of the house. The vent protectors are quite attractive and really enhanced the looks of the roof of the house. It has been almost a month and we have not heard a sound in the attic or walls. Even though the temperature has been well below freezing a few nights already, the critters have had to go elsewhere to find a place to winter over! If I could give more stars I would. Peace of mind is priceless!
