Actually the cashier was very rude and she told me that I'm not her employer. I am not objecting to age verification itself, but it should be handled discreetly and professionally, not announced publicly. I strongly think that staff should be properly trained to handle such situations with basic respect for customer privacy. If this is not addressed, I will consider escalating the matter through formal complaints and public reviews.
