Arrived across the street on Easter Sunday and my wife phoned in the order I think she ordered EVERYTHING! The lamb was delicious as was the lobster dinner w/ fillet mignon, we also enjoyed the lobster empanada had to wait until the next day to eat the cheese empanada. read more

I'm really confused... what I see here is NOTHING like what is being served in this restaurant. Today my sister and I tried this spot, hooding to see some of what I see here . When we arrive we are 2nd guest in the door the food came fast... almost too fast... the menu we looked at was all American food . The fries were stale and old . When we asked the waitress about the old stale fries , she said they were made to order and she didn't know how they could not be good .... I should have asked her to eat one so she would understand. the fish and chips tasted like the oil was old and burned, cam chowder tasted canned . We were also forgotten bu wait staff upstairs. I feel very upset when I'm tread like an idiot . I go out to eat so can enjoy something better then I make at home . I also don't eat fast food b/c I like to support local businesses . Service and food like this is what keeps me at home . I'll probably never go back. Or recommend this to anyone. I'm sorry but the cook and the staff need to know what made to order is what they are doing is not the same . read more

I was told about this place by the inn keeper at the Inn of the Lost Coast and oh my god did she know what she was talking about. They had a limited menu but I enjoyed a chicken quesadilla and was LITERALLY THE BEST quesadilla/chicken I've had in my entire life. I'd come back to Shelter Cove just for that delicious food, the views are great but the chicken here is better. read more

This restaurant was an unexpected find in the small community of Shelter Cove! Overall, we enjoyed our meal: the food was tasty and nicely presented. I had the shrimp, which were a tad dry, but the coleslaw was just right. Arepas were new for me and I enjoyed. Hubby had the pulled beef, which was intriguingly seasoned. I do expect the cost of a meal here to be pricey, but I'd say the value could be improved by including a bit more of the entree accompaniments. Two slices of plantains seems a bit parsimonious, and an extra 1/4 c of slaw and white rice wouldn't break the bank. I like the fact they support their fellow local restaurant by serving Gyppo's craft beer. read more
