We ended up finding a driver named David Michel (phone 52 52 33 1272 7489) who works as a private taxi and he was a godsend. Very responsive, very affordable and just a really helpful, nice guy. He ended up being who we relied on to drive us around during the week we were in the area and eventually to drive us back to the airport when we had to leave. Cannot recommend him enough.

Friends left after us and beat us to the airport by 10min. The fare was suppose to be 152pesos, and it turned out to be 167. No big deal. I gave him 200 and he said mucho gracias. He then reported to Uber that we didn't pay. Little shit needs his ass kicked. We're complaining to Uber. We got an email from Uber saying that when we're back in the States, they will charge our credit card the first time she uses Uber for that ride. Total Ripoff
