We had to change our pick up times several times and he was nothing but gracious and accommodating to our last minute changes. We always felt safe with him and he always drove with care. He will definitely be our permanent driver when we come back. Thank you Mr Cordova for making our vacation transportation so easy to plan.

And while in the roll lane the driver slammed the breaks, causing me to whiplash head first into the seat in front of me. Causing a head ach and bad pain in my neck. The driver pulled over but not to check on passengers, but to go back to the restroom in the back of the the bus, maybe it was his way to look for uncontrolled bleeding. I confronted him with the fact I'd been hurt, the passenger in the first row we were in second row right side of the bus saw my head impacting on seat next to him, told the driver in Spanish that I hit my head and was hurt. The driver just shrugged and locked the passenger compartment. Being cautious and not causing a delay on the airport express run I decided to report the incident to a supervisor at the Airport terminal two. I took the buses license plate number 70-HA-9H, I observed a female that appeared to be a supervisor talking to the driver, I called to her, but she turned walked away. I use a cane and was unable to chase her down No other supervisors located. Due to pain level I had to upgrade to first class for myself and my wife for our flight to Seattle. An added $318.00 cost. Upon arrival in Seattle my walking was unstable, due to head ach and cervical pain. I took a nasty fall in escalator down to Customs. The bus incident was the only black mark on a wonderful week in San Miguel de Allende. My neck is still hurting and most likely will need an MRI to assess if there is further damage due to this incident. I am pessimistic that the bus company will care about this. But I might consider retaining a lawyer if my condition remains poor.

Love that for my sister and I. First of all...11 hours?? I've had relationships that lasted less time and were more fulfilling.Second, and this one hurt , it is NOT a round-trip train ride. I repeat: NOT. A. ROUND. TRIP. TRAIN. RIDE. I was emotionally prepared for a charming back-and-forth scenic moment. Instead, surprise logistics shuffle. Devastating. It would have been so fun making it a round trip train ride. Touring Jose Cuervo was cool in a "wow, history" way since it's the oldest tequila distillery in the world. That said... most of the tequila? Respectfully... not great. I tried. I really did. My face told the truth before I could. Tequila (the town) is adorable. Truly cute. But three hours to wander around is excessive unless you're aggressively souvenir shopping or hiding in the shade contemplating life choices. Then there's a cheesy show at the end that feels like it was sponsored by "Mandatory Fun." The food wasn't great on the train either. Overall: one and done. Next time I'd skip the marathon tour and book a private experience at smaller local distilleries. Shorter, better tequila, less heat-induced regret. Did I have fun? Yes. Would I do it again? Absolutely not

Do you want to get drunk at 9am, keep the buzz going through many different venues until sundown,…read moreand still feel kind of classy? Then this is the experience for you. 10/5 stars if I could. First, the train ride from Guadalajara to Tequila was out of this world. The waiters would not let me have an empty tequila glass and half the time it was full of top shelf drink. Additionally, the cocktails were amazing. I was able to have one of each and they all surpassed the best tequila cocktails I've had in the States. The food portions were small but pretty tasty. Our chaperone for the day was super fun and informative everywhere we went. Starting in the train, she guided us through a tasting of multiple bottles of tequila that utilized all five senses. In tequila, the first thing we did was tour the Jose Cuervo distillery and museum. Again our chaperone guided us through everything from the clothing in the museum, to the chemical process behind the distillery. Again very informative and fun. After the tour, there were so many shops and restaurants and sources of entertainment I could have spent a whole weekend in the town of Tequila but our chaperone suggested some of the best for the few hours we had. I suggest you not buy anything until you're walked around for at least 20 min because the first stands you approach are the busiest and most expensive. We found a BBQ buffet for lunch with the couple we sat across from in the train and got a much needed lunch. I also filled my backpack up with souvenirs and had a couple more drinks at this point. After lunch there was an organized mariachi performance in the shade (shade was critical at this point in the early summer afternoon). The chaperones from the train walked around the amphitheater passing out more margaritas and water. There were many hungover faces at this point but I was still having an awesome time. We then went by bus to an agave field. More margaritas welcomed us here for a demonstration of the harvesting of agave. This was followed by an open bar, food stands including corn and churros, and music and dancing. Finally, the bus ride back to Guadalajara was quiet and peaceful. I had become good enough friends with our chaperone that I had more access to tequila shots on this trip too while most everyone else was sleeping. This was definitely an unforgettable experience at a great price point. The Jose Cuervo Express is a must do for anyone who likes tequila and culture.
