Their office is in an office park (nice building) off of 33 and William Penn Highway, so it is fairly easy to get to. The offices look like most law offices - sexy waiting area, nice offices with dark wood furniture, not to mention their meeting rooms replete with lots of law books and journals. I have been very pleased with their knowledge and services and I know my family has. I don't know all of the attorneys there so I can't speak for every one of them. But, from my experience, I would recommend them if you do need their services.

Firm-Wide Negligence, No Accountability from Leadership…read more I retained Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo for a time-sensitive civil case. After months of vague updates, their attorney, Michael McKarski, told me my case was "ready for litigation." That same day, he withdrew--without filing anything and without providing any transition support. What followed was worse. The "case file" I received was incomplete, missing over 100 internal communications, strategy notes, and documentation I later had to reconstruct myself. There was no written litigation plan, no summary of findings, and no effort made to preserve continuity. I sent multiple formal requests for clarity--copying senior partners, including Mark Altemose and Martin Cohen. None of them responded. No explanation. No follow-up. No acknowledgment of what happened. The firm had every opportunity to intervene, correct the damage, or at the very least, ensure a professional transition. They did nothing. The result was a total breakdown in legal process, documentation, and trust--during an active and ongoing dispute. These aren't just procedural mistakes. They're failures of basic legal responsibility. The entire situation is now documented, timestamped, and submitted to oversight authorities. If you're entrusting this firm with serious legal matters, understand that when things go wrong, you may be met with silence from the top down.

My experience with Joseph was extremely disappointing. I…read morearrived early for my scheduled appointment, yet someone without an appointment was taken before me, causing my consultation to start late. The staff apologized multiple times for the delay. Before the appointment, I completed a detailed intake form explaining exactly why I was seeking legal advice. Since I was required to pay a $250 consultation fee upfront, I reasonably expected that information to be reviewed beforehand. Instead, one of the first questions I was asked was, "What are you here for?" As I attempted to explain my situation, Joseph repeatedly yawned and checked his phone during the consultation. I found this behavior dismissive and unprofessional. When someone is paying for your time and seeking legal guidance on an important matter, they deserve your full attention and respect. The consultation lasted less than 20 minutes, and I was told I did not appear to have a viable legal case. I understand that not every situation warrants legal action, and I would have accepted that conclusion if I felt my concerns had been carefully considered. Instead, I left with the impression that the consultation was rushed and that very little effort had been made to understand my circumstances. For those of us who work hard for our money, $250 is not an insignificant amount. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Joseph. If your matter is not a major, high-profile lawsuit, you may want to carefully consider whether this is the level of attention and professionalism you expect from legal counsel. I left feeling that collecting the consultation fee was a higher priority than providing a meaningful consultation.

Attorney Kassis represented me in an injury case that happened a few years ago. Over a period of…read moretime, from inception to completion, I found Attorney Kassis to be professional, compassionate and thorough. In the end I won a nice settlement without a trial and was very happy with the outcome. I was pleased throughout our association and had no complaints. Recently, I had another pleasant encounter with Attorney Kassis. Not too long ago, I assumed a position within my children's school's PTA/PTO and due to all the changes in hands that had gone on (typical of similar organizations) there were some legal questions regarding older documents/arrangements that needed to be answered. My first impulse was to seek out an attorney who specializes in this sort of thing so I emailed and called two other local attorney's but after a few weeks and no return phone calls or emails I grew concerned. With fingers crossed I called attorney Kassis hoping that maybe he might have someone who works for him help me out. To be honest, I really wasn't expecting much after the cold shoulder I got from the other two offices so I was completely stunned that Attorney Kassis warmly welcomed me and actually helped me himself. During this exchange I found Attorney Kassis to be both knowledgeable and patient; I was thrilled when he effortlessly provided clear and easy to understand guidance. The other board members and I are extremely grateful for the direction we were given and are happy we can now move ahead with confidence that we are in compliance.
