Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Imagine Germany in the 1930s and you'll get an idea as to what I'm talking about. Perhaps, if a single management company and property manager are retained for multiple decades, they begin to behave with a callous dictatorial impunity -- they see themselves as being bigger than the community itself. Fortunately, we have a second home or our lives would be joyless. No fun living in a community where you will get an angry, poorly-written letter threatening fines and penalties when you accidentally put your garbage out on the wrong day one time during a period of 20 years. And that's actually a somewhat good interaction within this community. If you're considering this complex, find out if they have the same management company that they had during the 2000-2020 period -- if they do, turn around and run. Oh, if you do move in, they'll want you to sign a document agreeing to have all disputes resolved by mediation. This allows the management company to make improper demands without ever having to face a proper judge. Sweet arrangement, indeed.
