Now, where I seriously and I mean- seriously draw the line are sofas, mattresses, cushions, pillows, etc. and that to me, is just gross. No offense to anyone. Hubs and I noticed a gently-used $2300+ Pottery Barn dining table at this Kingston, NY ReStore for a flat $700. The poundage on this 8' monstrosity of a dinner table had me sold. Except, it was 2' too big for my dining room. But the price was killer. This ReStore is spacious with furniture gathered into groups. For instance, chest of drawers are grouped together, coffee tables in another group, lamps together, etc. There's leven a back room filled construction items like kitchen/bathroom tiles, hammers, etc ridiculously inexpensive. This is one of the best choices if you are looking for second-hand furniture.

I was starting at the end of my driveway where the snow plows deposited wet, heavy slush. I observed a sanitation truck come down Bruynswick Rd in the Gardiner, New Paltz area on 12/5/2024 @ approximately 11:30 am & stopped across the street from me, the gentleman got out of his truck & proceeded to pick up my neighbors garbage pail out of the snow that obviously had been knocked over by a snow plow. He then continued & picked up all the garbage that was knocked out of the pail & cleaned it all up. I thanked him for the EXTRA EFFORT he performed. I wish I asked for his name, but I asked God to bless him. Most sanitation companies wouldn't get out of their trucks anymore as they have an arm on their truck to do the dirty work & if your pail was knocked over by either the wind, a bear or a snow plow, they leave it where it lies an continue down the road. Kudos to LeMela Sanitation & the gentleman who went ABOVE & BEYOND his duties. I didn't ask for his name, but he seemed he was Latino, I sure hope his management see's this review & recognizes him for a JOB WELL DONE. When my wife comes home from work, I am going to suggest changing our company to LeMela Sanitation.
