Michael Mendoza, my SA, was a standout: thoughtful, honest, and seriously knowledgeable. I came in torn between two pieces, and he talked me through the pros and cons, even pointing out minor QC issues I might've missed after he brought them out. Despite following the brand for nearly a decade, I still learned a few things from him--like finding the production date or using the hidden NFC tag. When I couldn't grab the item same day, he offered to let me buy now and pick up tomorrow or reserve it until tomorrow, and even shared his WhatsApp to help me pre & post purchase. He also gave me a heads up about the start of Milan Design Week chaos, and just to be prepared for crowds, extra pickpockets, and buffer time, as I had a tight itinerary through the rest of my Milan trip. TL;DR: Great experience, great guy, greater VAT.

I have been searching for the Wine Journal and I was so happy they still sold it. The associate didn't really share in my excitement because I also loved they stay open late on Sunday nights. The prices are higher than I have seen in other stores (such as Barnes & Nobles who sells them on clearance for more than half the price of what I paid today.) The associate reminded that the the company is from Milan but I was disappointed to see that the journal was designed in Italy but is made in China. The journal is, however, so much nicer than any other that I have seen. It has a hard cover in a protective box, tips to improve your sommelier skills, six sections for different categories of wine, an expandable inner pocket, acid-free paper, themed stickers to customize your journal, and an elastic closure. I would give zero stars if I could. I am an American traveling in Italy. I bought a piece of…read moreluggage there today and carefully carried it back to my hotel, and then realized I did not need the luggage and about an hour later walked back to return it. I was told by the employee who asked her manager, that they do not allow returns, "only exchanges for same price or greater." my sister than googled the law in Italy, and found that any store in the EU has to give at least two weeks to return to receive a full refund. when we informed the employee of this, they then turned bright red and did not know what to say. We asked to speak with a manager. when the manager came over to do the return, he refused to refund to my original form of payment and said he could "only give me cash" which he knew I would lose money when I need to exchange this back for American currency. they are totally crooked and try to take advantage of tourists. Do not go here.
