I purchased the luggage in Milan and used it while traveling Italy. However, the wheel broke after just 6 days. I was disappointed, but knew it had a 10 year warranty. However, customer service just kept repeating the following:
Thank you for contacting us
We inform you that damage to luggage following air boarding is, unfortunately, very frequent and that the airlines themselves recognize the responsibility by offering customers compensation in the event of an immediate complaint that has to be made to the lost&found office of the ariport. If you had, you would have received refund of the value of the luggage.
Carpisa offers a free repair service, even for damaged items and therefore out of warranty (such as in your case), subject to availability of spare parts.
However, unfortunately, this type of is assistance is only accessible through our official stores, so we invite you to go to the nearest store in order to receive assistance.
If there aren't any stores in your area, we invite you to contact us again when you'll be near a Carpisa shop in the world.
Best Regards
Team Carpisa
