I've worked out most of my adult life but mostly by myself and then maybe a class here and then. Did the YMCA, even did some personal training. The trainers at Gymnastics Body are in a league of their own. They really understand the body, how it moves and can actually train you properly. I look back at my past training and with the exception of one person, I see now that none of them really had the in depth knowledge that these guys do. Also, the gym itself is really clean and the staff are nice. So grateful I've found this place. I always look forward to my super early 6AM stretch class!!

Came to Highland rec center for the aquatic area for my daughter's birthday. We signed up for the…read moreafternoon swim that was two hours long. Now there is a lot of amenities here at the aquatic center but the two big slides in the corner are little rocky. We decided to go down the waterslides when we first got there and noticed that both have flaws. There are wasp nests underneath the slides so you do see tons of wasp flying around. The swirl slide we took moves really slow so you have to push yourself at some point to keep moving forward down the slide. People were coming down quickly after you would get off the slides they got kind of close to landing in the water by us. The straight down slide you catch air midway, especially for a little kids you kinda stopped, touching the slide at one point. Now for the smaller kid area it was perfect for my five year old. They had little slides over there and even a medium kid slide as soon as you walk up nice splash pad a lot more slow pace and relaxing. they do have lifejackets there if needed for children. They also have a café where they serve Domino's Pizza and other snacks and drink options which we did get some Gatorade's and a whole Domino's Pizza, and for the price it wasn't bad.

In our first few months at Flip Zone I have seen my daughter's confidence build and her skills develop in a whole new way. Flip Zone supports not only their strength and technique, but the mental aspect of gymnastics as well. There are several different schedule options and we love the homeschool training program. Like many families, we made a major commitment of time, money, and trust based on the information provided to us when we enrolled. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely frustrating. We have experienced ongoing issues with communication, organization, and transparency. We were given certain expectations regarding team structure, timelines, and opportunities, but later experienced changes that did not align with what we originally understood when making our commitment. One major concern was the communication surrounding team placement and deadlines. We were informed that the cutoff date to join the competition team was May 10, 2026. After that date, additional athletes were still added to the team, which raised concerns about whether the same expectations and policies were being applied consistently to all families who had already committed. The team structure also changed after enrollment, including splitting athletes into different groups with changes to practice schedules and additional costs. Families commit financially and make significant sacrifices based on the information they are given at the time of enrollment, so changes like these should be communicated clearly and handled transparently. In addition, the gym often feels significantly overcrowded, which has impacted training. At times, our team has not had consistent access to the equipment needed during practices due to limited space and multiple groups sharing training areas. This has affected the quality and flow of training sessions and is something families should consider when evaluating the program. We have also been disappointed by how concerns have been handled. Parents should feel comfortable asking questions and advocating for their child while receiving clear communication and professional responses. Before committing to FlipZone, I strongly encourage families to ask detailed questions about: * How team decisions are made * How deadlines and policies are enforced * How changes to teams and schedules are communicated * What additional costs may arise after commitment * How gym space and equipment access are managed * How parent concerns are addressed We love gymnastics and want the best opportunities for our child, but families deserve transparency, organization, and consistency from a competitive program. We visited Bayside Sports Academy to attend a birthday party for my friend's child. This is a HUGE…read moregym located inside of a warehouse. There is so much room to run around in and lots of apparatuses to try, whether you're there for free play or for formal gymnastics training. There is also a Ninja Warrior themed area, with obstacles from the show for you to try. Because we were there for a birthday party, you get two chaperones who stay with your group and show the kids how to use the equipment. They didn't set up any particular obstacle or activity for the group to do together, so parents just had to supervise their kids (or run around with them as well) around the gym. My husband and I got yelled at a few times because we managed to get into the areas we were NOT supposed to go (the Ninja Warrior equipment and the inflatable slide, which has designated times for use). We had our own area for eating and storing presents for the birthday girl. After we ate, the chaperones finished our birthday session at the inflatable slide. Not the smartest order after our kids stuffed themselves with pizza and cake, but the kids had fun nonetheless. This was a fun, HUGE, and clean facility to use for a birthday party. Seems like a reputable place to enroll your kids or yourself in for gymnastics and other tumbling sports.
