I am confused. The Yelp website notes that this place is closed. But then others Yelpers have…read morewritten about this place, as recently as Aug 2026. So I am going to add to the collective noise and word that might help, or detract from this place's reputation. Why? Do I fancy adding water to a closed jug? No. I do not really engage in the futile all that much. I went to Clifton's and I stepped inside and my eyes gazed many things that suggests the place was open and now I wish to document. I mean it is not like I stepped into The Twilight Zone and now wonder if what I experienced on this night was real or fabricated by aliens in human guise. Or maybe I did- step into the Twilight Zone. This place has oddities, bobbles, and people near shipwrecks, all in a buidling that stretches tall and big. And where would someone find a collection of all those items if not in a place that is parallel to earth's dimension, just with a twist that defines that dimension? This was my second time at Clifton's. I remember my first visit as a rowdy good time. I saw two friends, use the same urinal. They were not gay. They made that clear. They were just in party mode. And sometimes party animals use the same bush, at the same time, to relief their bladdes. If it is good in the sarenguetti (I know I spelled that wrong) then why is it not good hear at Clifton's. Besides this very specific item that stayed with me, I remember Clifton being more a crazy club with oddtiies that gave it personality. But on my second visit the place had more layers of its personality. And I mean that literally because each floor had its own party vibe. When my friend and I Conrad first stepped in, we stepped in into a room with a giant tree that I think shot through then wall. The music was not for nyphms in green to sway with the wind and twirl with vines and twigs on their hair. The music was a room for those who liked to get down with Spanish music. This immediately set the vibe of the place---- unique flavor in space and beat. And this room served a contradiction--- a woodland party, filled with music for puntados, not for those seekng element amidst a tree that would feel home at Sequoia. As Conrad and I went up the stairs we passed a buffalo that was huge. Not like tree huge but huge in general. Cause this land mammal is as big as mayve a Jeep. The immedaite comparison that one thinks of are the real life dioramas at the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History. The Buffalo looked passerbys. And as I am writing this, I feel an eerie chill that makes me grateful to know that the animal was just posing there lifeless, not waiting for my back to be turned. We also passed a peacock. I have seen peacocks out in the wild and they did not seem as regal as the one posing at Cliffton's. I guess that is why models matter. Sometimes a pose speaks of a beautiful reality that beautiful reality cannot speak of. At the top Conrad and I found a Tiki Bar with Karoake. This place was the moment for me. I sat and heard Mulan's I'll make a man out of you. As I walked back down I sang the lyrics with a crowd doing the same. We were an army, a small army, of song. We were not a choir singing in key, we were not prepared enough to be, but we were a group of soloists becoming a group. And that means I had a good time with strangers. This place is worth a visit but come in with an open mind of what this place shoud be beause it wont meet what you think it will be. Even after reading this review and gettng some clues.

We played and killed it as the "Lady Killers" team. We won complimentary drinks/snacks and our team lead won a trophy - tiki mug. The drinks were strong. The place is like a quirky giant playground for adults so much to look at despite only 2 of 6 floors being opened. The service was lovely and friendly. Go out and support them - you'll have the best time!

It was important for…read moreus to celebrate in our favorite city and pick a place that was local for everyone to join us. The indoor/outdoor rooftop, Tulum style interior, and LA skyline made our day perfect. Our guests loved being able to mingle and dance while enjoying the gorgeous view of the city especially during summer. Oh, and they also have AC which was refreshing. We rented the Photo Booth offered by our host and couldn't be happier. It was an elegant, high quality booth too that produced nice photos. The bartenders were friendly and personable which was greatly appreciated. On the same floor as Savanna, there is a brand new rooftop bar called Florentìn which we were able to enjoy for about an hour after our wedding ended. The music was our vibe as well, we love some R&B. Overall, if you're looking for a modern wedding venue with a beautiful interior in DTLA w/ Valet - this is your spot! Bonus: The owner helped us book valet, bartenders, furniture and everything. AND they offer a Live Web Cam later in the evening that displays on the outdoor deck, so freaking fun lol Probably one of our favorite features. Shout out to Max for creating such an iconic venue! His entire team was professional and generous with their time. Enjoy some pics from the night' We loved having our event here and hope you will too!

We opted for one of the packages. It was the best! From the initial planning stages to the final moments of the event, Alma and her team at LA Celebrations went above and beyond to make this celebration an absolute success. Honestly, we didn't know where to start at first but I knew I wanted a celebration that would embrace my daughter's cultures! Alma made it possible! The venue is a hidden gem in Los Angeles! It has a stunning ballroom and garden as it provided the perfect backdrop for our daughter's celebration. We also had the opportunity to host a religious ceremony and dinner/program at the same venue! Alma is talented and has an eye for detail; she is indeed an expert in her field! She provided my daughter with options and suggestions, no pressure and completely made it flawless. We literally walked into the venue ready to celebrate! What truly sets this venue apart was their outstanding service. The staff and the vendors Alma suggested (Laura, Jose, *DJ Victor, *Chef Manuel, *Bartender Marvin just to name a few!) were professional, accommodating, attentive, and friendly throughout the entire process. Their professionalism and dedication were truly commendable. Our daughter's quinceañera was a day filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories, thanks in large part to the incredible team at LA Celebrations. How significantly fitting that The Vermont Hollywood is next to a Filipino supermarket, a Filipino food joint, plus this music venue has some Islander workers because I saw/interacted with some Filipino and Samoan staff while my wife & I were here thanks to some music biz homies that got us free tickets to the 2026 Olivia Rodrigo SOUR PROM!! Parking isn't extremely bad because you can park across the street at the random strip mall areas. Inside, they have a well-ventilated area that leads to the bar and into the stage. Their bar is pretty chill just like their bartenders. The red headed chick was really really nice and gave my wife a OLIVIA RITA cocktail that she didn't skimp on the alcoholic with too! Restrooms can be a toss up mainly because of the fans who mess it up for others. The stage area is really nice with 3 video walls around some quality speakers. It's very spacious along with its nice balcony area. They had enough space to fit a cool Photo Booth and another booth for the Olivia Rodrigo swag. All in all, The Vermont Hollywood is a really nice venue. You won't expect it took look like this from the outside, but it's really nice inside!
