Personally, I've found J&K cabinets to be better overall than their competitors, and they remain my go-to choice. For example, a customer of mine spent $8,500 on cabinets from Lowe's (on sale), while I purchased the same cabinets from J&K for $2,300.

Unfortunately, that week that line's distributor let the company know they were discontinuing the white high gloss finish. Derek was very transparent about the situation and recommended against buying the cabinets in case anything went wrong, as they'd be hard to replace. He guided me in remaining available lines and what he would and wouldn't recommend. He quoted a framed flat slab cabinet that would work for my needs, and he even pointed me to a local company that he doesn't sell in his store, but knows was the type of cabinet I'd been looking for. We were told they'd be about a 50% markup from the lower end cabinets. we called back 3 times to inquire about the estimate and were given excuses as to why the company hadn't processed the estimate. When the estimate finally came back it was 150% above the lower end cabinets. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!
