Mike's training doesn't stop with the physical appearance of the body. He offers information and options to address overall health and wellbeing; be it working out to meet weight goals, improving dietary habits or including herbs to support the body's self-healing functions. Me personally as an avid traveler to less developed regions, I've caught a bug or two during my travels. Upon my most recent return to the States, I wasn't sure what I was infected with as I received diagnosis of E. coli and Typhoid in the host country (in November 2017) and H. Pylori here in the U.S at a UCLA facility (January 2018). My symptoms were mild, no vomiting or diarrhea but I would eat full meals and still feel hungry right after. My stomach would have a constant feeling of discomfort but not necessarily pain. Clearly, this wasn't normal so in January I began to take the 14-day triple antibiotic treatment typically prescribed for H. Pylori. First of all, this treatment did not work. I used these meds in combination with a plant-based diet. I had to take between 6-10 pills per day and once ingested, the taste of the drugs lingered in my throat for hours, which was very unpleasant. And I still had the hunger pains. Following the completion of the drugs in February and even weeks after, I was still not back to my normal self. So, after surfing google and Youtube for natural solutions, I stumbled upon a video that surprised me by regurgitating everything I was experiencing. It recommended taking a mixture of herbs for 60 days with a plant-based diet. This was heaven sent because I believe in the power of nature to heal the body and I only took the antibiotics out of panic and a lack of knowledge of alternatives at that time. And Mike had only recently begun to offer herbal supplements to his clients so let me tell you, this was right on time. Even though H. Pylori isn't classified as a parasite, rather a culture, I took the initiative to treat it as such. I received his Parasite Killer herb in March. I was initially taking it inconsistently and I saw no results; the hunger pains persisted. Once I began to take the herbs consistently (3 each morning before meals), I noticed improvements in my stomach about a month and a half in. By May, I felt nothing. I went in for testing and the results were returned negative. I almost didn't believe it but it was written. I was healed. Prior to this, I already strongly disagreed with prescription drugs but this experience reinforced my trust in natural healing and holistic approaches to addressing ailments of the body. The modern world makes this type of healing more challenging but you must be disciplined to ensure the intake of the right foods during and after the healing process. I also used the Parasite Killer in combination with 1 Mastic Gum capsule each morning. I took turmeric, ginger, and sage sporadically. I avoided fast food, processed food, and sugar. I have tried many boot camps and work out facilities before. Previous places had me in a vicious cycle -losing and gaining, gaining and losing. Well Mike's is a little different! He takes all of your information (just in case you didn't know how much each of your arms, legs, and midsection actually weighs) takes down your goals, and then puts you TO WORK! He holds you accountable (if you're ONE MINUTE late- you get extra work, you don't turn in your meal prep pic -more work, you say CAN'T -more work) Oh yes I did say meal plan and he has you prep 5 days at a time. normally meal plans are given at an extra charge although it is almost vital to your success) Mike honestly cares about your goal just as much as you do and reminds you to focus in moments of weakness. If you are looking for a fitness coach, Mike is your guy. He is an awesome, fit, friendly and down to earth motivator that has your best interest at hand. Mike, I used to weigh 185 pounds in January of 2017,due to Type 2 Diabetes. I now, struggle to maintain 125 pounds... a 60 pound unexplained weight loss.
