I know that it is a Pawn Shop's job to make money, I understand that, if you paid retail prices for…read moreeverything anyone ever tried to sell to you, you'd be out of business. At the same time, if customers feel like they are being ripped off, they are not going to make a return. I have been in The Exchange a few times now, the first few times it was to browse their inventory. A lot of their stuff is way over priced, I'd never think about buying any of the stuff they have there. A few times I was in there I actually overheard an employee blatantly lie about a product they were trying to sell. The last time I visited was the last straw. I was short on money so I decided to sell my video game collection. The overall value of the entire collection was well over $500.00, but I needed the money and I needed it now. When I went into the shop I had them look over the products for a good half hour before they told me they wouldn't give me anymore then $80.00 for everything on the counter. I told them I wouldn't go any lower then $150.00 and they basically laughed me out of the building. Like I said, they need to make money, but they go way above and beyond that. Scammers, rip-off artists, thieves. Don't do business with them.
