When I needed a medical letter translated from English to Spanish I did some legwork and called a…read morefew document translation services. I selected Etcetera based on a call with Joaquim during which he displayed insights into the specific needs of the technical language involved which reassured me that his team was professional. I was also impressed by the service aspects: quick turnaround and express mailing of the document plus notary certification within two days. (In contrast, one service I called in California was vague and who didn't even "hear" on the phone that I was living in Washington DC not Washington state. This is enough to raise questions in my estimation as to their specificity and detail-execution.) Within a short time of sending my letter to Joaquim, I received an email in response and within two days had the express mailed documents in hand. The extra mile they went, to verify the medical terminology with their Spanish editor/translator was appreciated. The price for the meticulous and professional service was fair. I enjoy leaving positive Yelp reviews for businesses such as this that do a terrific job. I intend to use their services again when I need important legal paperwork.

They made the most basic mistake of not even notarizing the translation page, just the cover sheet. As a result, the package failed the State Department's document legalization process. Unclear what their real business is if they don't follow the changing regulations!

I spoke with Dr. Hickman and he was so informative and eager to assist. He explained to me the process and gave me a quote at front. I either had to scan or take a picture of the birth certificate. I'm always on the go, so I just took a picture of it with my phone and e-mailed the pictures to him. I submitted my payment, and 12 hours later (if that) I received a certified translated birth certificate. I received a digital copy and now I just have to wait for the hard copy. I'm satisfied with their services and if I ever need anything else I'm for sure coming back and recommending this to anyone who needs their services! Thank you Dr. Hickman.
